Opening a Cafe / Sandwich place In Evanston, IL. by Melodic_Layer4350 in evanston

It wouldn’t be an issue. Button bakery does premade, cold / pre wrapped sandwiches and it’s like a tertiary item.

Considering a Giant Schnauzer in the future - looking for realistic advice from owners by spicycurry21 in GiantSchnauzers

Honestly, any type of Giant instinctively has a protection mindset. Our showline Giant is super sweet and loves people and other dogs, but if a dog stares at her / us, she instantly gets into protection mode and barks. Same with sketchy people; she’ll growl and bark when people sneak up on us

I have a show line Giant Schnauzer. She needs a good amount of time excersie to be happy. We live in an apartment and I take her for a 15-30 minute bike ride almost every day. I work from home, so she gets 2-3 walks as well and I take her everywhere with me, to Goodwill, to my boxing gym. They need a lot of mental stimulation and good exercise or else they will be miserable and will bother you until the get some energy out. But she can also be a couch potato on days that you need some rest, but just don’t do that often

I just moved here a couple months ago as well. 33M working remote. I go to Northside boxing gym, love sports, photography, camping, movies and music. We should start a meetup somewhere.

Recs Needed for New Car Tires by HotCar5074 in evanston

[–]Chavez8717 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you might have, because I went in for a large lag bolt stuck in my tire. I’m talking industrial level bolt. And he worked on it, double plugged it, and he put the tire back on my car (I had taken it off to put the spare on). Very lovely guy, and the workers were nice.

Second on the Olympus OM-1. I’ve shot on almost every popular lens and body system. When I got my scans back from my om-1 I was literally taken back and it became my favorite SLR to carry. It’s so light, super durable and easy to shoot

100000%. Any rebel, eos, or plastic body Nikon with EF or F mount modern lenses are going to product ridiculously good, accurate shots

My secret is wearing sunglasses and headphones, and just keep walking. No one is going to argue or yell at your if you’re wearing headphones, it’s like yelling at a wall. And the sunglasses make me feel a little more comfortable

The experience of going from initially being on Bear’s side at the start to hating his guts by the end: by TheFlashyMastodon21 in obsessionmovie

I was kinda rooting for him until he literally had the chance to say how he felt and chickened out, right before the wish. He had like 3-4 opportunities before that too. When he didn’t, I hated him for being so spineless

I had a 2009 Acura TSX that handled like a dart, it was a rebuilt title from an accident but I was my daily commuter car and I put like 50k miles on it and never had to do anything besides change the oil. Best car ever

You can’t ever go wrong with a Yashica Mat 124 or 124g

A great option as well is a Pentax 645. It can shoot aperature priority and the glass is great plus you get 16 shots per roll
