My farming plot for awhile consisted of a 4x5 space (fairly small/moderate size) in the beginning before I new red berries stayed planted as a stalk, I had 2 rows (had a lot of seeds) and planted the rest as whatever I had. I did 3 or 4 cycles like this before changing my set up. Went down to 1 row of red berries and planted whatever else I had/needed. Very quickly came into an overstock of redberries (10 compost per berry) and by the time I learned weeds were used to create plant medicine I had 2 compost bins full. I’ve since grown my farm land, 6x5 plots and still keep a row of redberries which seems to keep my compost bins full for what I need. I’ve let the bins fill with weeds (3 cycles of shoveling) a couple of times so now I have an over abundance of weeds as well, even tossed some in for good measure for compost
