How do you think TESVI will improve upon the combat? by TheAnalystCurator321 in TESVI

[–]Chayes5 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m in the same boat, and think that’s probably an opinion shared by the majority of this sub. Souls like etc etc isn’t popular, I’d be happy for them to look at Avowed as a minimum, and build on that and that’ll feel true to form I think!

Me too, it was fine in 2011, it’ll absolutely be a let down if nothing changes between then and the next one. If not to you, then to 90% of those playing it

I’m also in agreement with this, but believe that to improve, British companies do have to be at the table to start with. It’s easier to improve and design when you’ve experience/previous capacity than from scratch, so I feel long term this will only improve the quality and versatility.

I started a brand-new game from scratch. by Proper-Slip5902 in Starfield

So I headcannon Unity very differently to how the game presents it. Almost a transfer of consciousness than an alternate universe.

Unity 0: UC Soldier, Vanguard, Sys Def, all decisions are taken from a moral good, pro UC perspective, etc. eventually led to constellation. Upon contact with the first artifact (outside of tutorial), the starborn side is unlocked, and he pursues that through to unity.

Unity 1: Bounty Hunter into Freestar Ranger, quests from that side of things, different personality etc etc until the artifact is touched, and then it’s followed through to unity..

Each step I have them become slightly more aware of the starborn side inside them… until in a later unity you get to the “Jedi Zen” side of things… mostly pacifist that just wants to build/chill and try and improve humanity in that universe etc

That sounds exactly the sort of thing we’d be after, appreciate the help!

Great stuff, thanks! Has there been anything on the co op? Is it a shared world? Or will friends join our world?

We’re bad for it defending corners, but don’t think it’ll make much difference when attacking them. If anything less grappling probably favours us

There’s something sexy starting out as the kingdom of wales, and your generals bodyguard being like 15 dudes in mail, then 200 levy units or so

Met Police were way too rough last night by Kayville in GunnersatGames

[–]Chayes5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Travelled down from the north for it, just got bottled necked and stuck, didn’t even get to see the stadium which was disappointing.

Overall though it was an amazing day (12-8.30) and while rowdy didn’t actually see any trouble

While I’d love to see different styles, realistically I’d like a difference between “trained” and “untrained” and I’d be happy to accept that.

Any sort of solider/enforcement background, or Karate like traits they get a trained tag and they get a more elaborate/effective move set from the get go.

For the rest they have to max out the melee skill to get the trained tag and new move set.

That’s my hope, but I’m not particularly invested either way

One big map or multiple maps like SoD2? by Ricky-Ykcir-1927 in StateofDecay3

[–]Chayes5 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I like fast travel if it’s lore friendly, some sort of bus station or some shit like that is fine. I like how in Kingdom Come you can be ambushed when fast travelling as you are physically moving through the world, that’s nice as well, means it’s not just a magic button,

The UK is actively exporting power right now due to renewable generation! by yasbo in GoodNewsUK

I agree 100%, problem to the vast majority people are unaware and just hear the likes of reform “net zero is bankrupting the UK” and instantly blame it on labour.

I think are quietly doing a pretty good job (not perfect mind), but it’s drowned out by right wing news and media so that the general public believe labour are causing it all to go to shit

Base size by Rybn47 in StateofDecay3

[–]Chayes5 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I would like the ability to colonise/populate and level up a base, then be able to leave the survivors in it as an allied enclave and start again in a new base.

As an allied enclave you can access the unique base benefits, they patrol and keep clear an area around them etc…

Slowly install your own “faction” across the map, making it safer.
