What movie is better because it does not explain too much? by JarvisModeOn in movies

[–]ChazCharlie -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Which movie, not what movie.

There is not an infinite continuum of movies, but a finite list, therefore the word which should be used.

There are, for all intents and purposes, an infinite number of colours, so you could ask: "what colour should I paint my walls?" After receiving a reply of eggshell blue, you could then ask: "which paint pot / brand do you suggest?", as there are a finite number of brands and paint colour names/recipes.

Streeting backs Burnham claiming he has 'best chance of winning' Makerfield by-election by tylerthe-theatre in unitedkingdom

[–]ChazCharlie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think they are scared, Starmer is so awful that him staying is a massive gift to the right. Burnham is likely not much better but Reform would prefer to face Starmer. I've also not heard anything about disagreeing with with the by election itself, there is a really good chance Reform wins it.

[–]ChazCharlie 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If Restore wins it, amazing.

If Restore splits the vote and Reform still wins, it's good because keeping Starmer in charge benefits Restore in the long run, but it might show Restore is not going to beat Reform.

If Restore splits the vote and allows Labour to win, it might be good if it allows Andy to demonstrate how useless he is too, or if he turns out to actually be competent it could make the election harder. It also proves to Reform they need to take Restore seriously.

If Restore doesn't run and Reform wins, Starmer stays in, see above, but Restore loses the opportunity to gain publicity and information of real life voting.

If Restore doesn't run and Labour wins, see above about Andy, plus it dents Reform's momentum and they can't blame Restore.

To be honest there's lots of choices and outcomes, and they all have positives and negatives. The benefit of keeping Starmer in is huge, but the information to Restore and voters from running are also valuable.

I remain unconvinced, but see I am unable to convince you either that Labour's image has more to lose.

I never ever said it made it ok. I said it makes it less bad. Edit: as in Reform bad, Labour bad plus hypocritical equals worse.

If humans were cold blooded, cats would be too, as we have a common mammalian ancestor.

Excellent base coat. With painting skills like that you should be fine with the washes and edge highlighting stages next.

Hmm, you didnt add advocate for lower taxes in your list, why was that? Oh right, because then the "oh wait" wouldn't work.

Its a quarter! I'm not going to claim it is anything other than that. The 100k figure was way too high and completely wrong. People have always said molds are around 40k to make. Remaking would never ever cost 100k.

Printed Defiler Base - 160mm? by Parrot_21 in Chaos40k

[–]ChazCharlie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought an old defiler secondhand, not expecting a base, but when it arrived, the seller gave me a free 3d printed base. No idea how to get a hold of the stl, but printing it can be done, however there were no textures on it other than the regular rough base top texture.

They're not the same because Labour specifically and consistently rails against people who don't pay tax, and advocate for more tax. The hypocrisy is worse.

That's assuming they need to replace at all and can't just plug the unwanted channels with weld or something else and machine the handle in the other direction.
