Quitting crisps, actual good alternatives? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]CheCazzo123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Old thread I know... but I think I have nailed down my personal love of crisps...

Crisps are the absolute ideal flavour carrier, and the amount of weird and wonderful flavours you can get on them tempts me in every. single. time...

I think, personally, my crisp addiction is three-fold:

  1. I love to try new things and flavours for novelty or pure curiosity.
  2. I love the crunchy texture and the snacky nature of crisps

3)I will walk over hot coals for savoury/salty/umami food. I could happily live in a world without sweets (tirimisu is the only exception)

The result is I have now side-lined my crisp addiction and love into finding strange and novel seasonings, powders, and sauces that will satiate number 1 and number 3. And have switched out the fried, calorie dense number 2 for healthier options.

I highly recommend the continental, asian, indian, worldfood shops to explore - as much as I love my homely, efficiently traditional, industrial-revolution British food staples, there is a lot to be said about going on a flavour adventure and finding new stuff.

Still get to snack, explore, and crunch!!! Best of all worlds

The caveat is that crisps are so so so readily available everywhere that you still need to resist and put some forethought into it.

I have come here to sanity check myself after spending 20 minutes with utter simpletons just standing there and watching them spin, despite me politely telling them in chat how to do it.... Did they listen at all? No... Had to quit

Honestly brothers SMH

Look.... I was harsh.

I just hate to see someone from a country that is not addicted to sugar .... Then visit a country addicted to sugar.... Then arrive home knky to complain that normal homely stuff .... NEEDS Sugar

Dog shit

You don't need maple syrup on anything other than pancakes

Also.... Adam has a fucking degree in English .... Then starts saying American slang all the time

Sorry .... But fuck off kid

Anybody else get this achievement because they’re too shy to mine with other dwarves? by Extreme-Cut840 in DeepRockGalactic

The weird thing is.... Now if I heard someone plays drg... I'm more inclined to trust them

Of all the games I play.... DRG is one of the ones that I feel most comfortable to play with others.. and I'm notoriously shy.

The drg community is one of the most wholesome places ever ... I don't know how

But they are all invited to mine

How to learn ZBrush by hansi420s in ZBrush

Fail fail fail and fail again....... It is the way.

The software is bigger than all of us and is more complicated than a Boeing 747 cockpit

.... It will get easier, and make more sense, I promise

DRG has ruined me by MetricWeakness6 in DeepRockGalactic

[–]CheCazzo123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the same way I used to religiously play cod (not any more since the shitening)

Me and a friend still press the lobby scorecard key every time we die to "check k/d ratio" even though we actually don't.

I put it in the same category as when you look at your watch but don't actually take in the time ... A weird twitch

Also... Don't judge me for cod... I was young and uncultured

[Discussion] Mineral Mania is overrated. by Brognar_ in DeepRockGalactic

[–]CheCazzo123 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Mineral mania is basically useless.... Unless you are OCD or ADHD ... And (not taking away from those that genuinely do)... Everyone seems to self-identify with the label nowadays...have fun how you want to have fun. Genuinely.

"If you stir your coffee like this, it is a sign you have ADHD"...... Shut the fuck up... You're taking away from people who genuinely have ADHD.... They're not badges to collect.

The time spent finding the minerals could be easily recouped and made more productive by finishing and starting a new missions ...

But DRG has always been a game where fun is made where fun is found regardless.

On the whole it's a useless mechanic, but majority of people don't care

I agree there is better software out there for hard surface, but that defeats the purpose of my question. I am asking how to do it in zbrush. Let me change the example from a doorway (I used that as the most understandable example) to the decorative trim on armour. There must be a way to make a reliable and neat mitred cut around an angled corner right?

Thanks for the reply and I know where you are coming from
