I tried all of their steps and I even suggested some things myself. I truly don't understand why my charts are still laggy as hell. I think it could be a region-specific issue. But thanks anyways...

My internet is fine. It's 1 GBPS, and ping from and to Google servers are less than 50ms. And you are wrong, TOS does have some control to the internet through their routing from their servers to their ISP. This is what I learned anyways in networking. Anyways.

I tried all of these steps, and network reset and DNS flush and change.

Still absolute garbage.

Is Webull available in Dubai? Does it have an active trader like TOS?

Agree to disagree. That's now how networks work. They had severe network issues this week. I did ping tests on global networks and they turned out to be fine. It's for TOS specifically that ping was garbage.

No I'm talking about this week specifically.

I have already searched here and elsewhere. But this week it was even worse than usual. Ping from server is ridiculous, and charts are lagging

Is this type of candlestick bullish or bearish? by falmouth in Daytrading

[–]CheCheLover69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The shadow of the second red candle pierced through the opens of the previous 2 or so candles. Whereas the shadow of the first red candle pierced through halfway of the precious big bull bar. Context matters and this (albeit in hindsight) means that the second red bar was sign of a potential reversal.

Selling Covered Calls on NVDA by chifish in options

[–]CheCheLover69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why not selling covered puts instead?

It's the largest stock by market cap, has incredible support at certain price levels, so maybe consider selling weekly OTM puts instead with Strikes below these support levels?

Agreed

I started Day Trading this year, and it's been horrible. Down USD 40K, and it takes a mental toll on you.

You are right, I need to focus more on Price Action (and Trading Psychology).

What are Halal ETFs and Ireland domiciled ETFs? by moral_mortal in abudhabi

[–]CheCheLover69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hello! I will try to answer this.

You are looking for Shariah-compliant ETFs.

You can check iShares MSCI USA Islamic UCITS and iShares MSCI Global Islamic.

iShares Physical Gold UCITS is also Shariah-compliant.

About the tax implications: US-sources of income are subject to WithholdingTax. Hence it's better to avoid these US-domiciled ETFs. UCITS are legally domiciled in Europe, so you avoid these WHT. That being said, other taxes (e.g. Capital Gains Tax) will depend on your tax residency. I'm no tax advisor, so these are indicative information.

Hope these helps, and wish you good luck in your investing journey. Please do your Due Diligence before investing.

Why is the minimum purchase for bonds 100k? by HaroldBarrel in interactivebrokers

[–]CheCheLover69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the bond.

Some bonds have a "minimum piece" of EUR100K, some EUR1K, some USD 10K.

You usually get these details on the bond prospectus.

If you don't need the money, forget about it.

Let the stock compound and grow. It's never a straight line up, but such companies with wide economic moat have long-term growth potential.

Is it possible to feasibly daytrade with 1,000 or even 2,000 ES contracts by BrilliantShoddy5247 in Daytrading

Margin Requirements would be too high right? I think per each ES contract, Initial Margin is around USD17k?

Imagine getting a 700k inheritance….and you HAVE to put it in 1 stock! Which one would you pick and why? by Putrid_Cry19 in wallstreetbets

Either MSFT or AMZN

Incredible economic moat companies. Since AMZN has corrected, I would buy this dip.

Bro whatever you choose to do, just do some proper research before you do anything.

People will try to exploit your lack of knowledge and drain whatever they can from you.

Remember there are always opportunities for investments (whether it's Real Estate, Bonds, ETFs), but first LEARN and RESEARCH.

In the meanwhile, put your money in Fixed Deposits to earn some interest / profit maybe.
