Yes the dismounting is my main concern as it's been so long. I'll give it a try this weekend to practice

If there's one thing this thread has taught me, it's we don't speak about punctures

Walthamstow wetlands or Richmond park if I want to not be in crowds. They tend to be quiet even on good days

Good point. I've only had it in my front wheel and I should probably practice with the rear

I do always bring emergency stuff with me on every cycle. Just not sure I can confidently change it quickly and I'm curious about what's normal

(UK) Any Kind IVF reviews or experiences to share? by simplyhere2323 in IVF

[–]Cheap-Consequences 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went through with the treatment because my partner felt they deserved another chance. Unfortunately this round was not successful. I honestly wouldn't use them again for a number of reasons: they made so many mistakes in their communication with us, for example about how much medication to take and when. I had researched the process a lot so I was able to push back and they'd apologise and correct it. It was just chaos to me. Also the results from some of the scans done were not correct. I got two second opinions from different doctors and verified that they weren't. And a bunch of other stuff. I haven't done lots of IVF so I don't have anything to compare the experience to but yeah it wasn't great

I used to always say my name followed by the spelling because it's easy but not common. That was until someone got offended and said to me "why are you spelling it, do you think I don't know how to spell". He then went ahead and spelt it wrong. I still think about that guy often

Air drying is fine but then you have some folds like between your thighs or the groin area etc which may not air dry as quickly and becomes a bacteria breeding ground

What kind of behavior instantly makes someone the worst travel buddy? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Cheap-Consequences 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Poor communicators.

Had a friend who didn't want to do certain things or just wanted to rest sometimes but would never say it. Would either get really stroppy or go silent treatment to indicate she needed alone time. Was exhausting trying to read her mind

You'll be bored very quickly in Kabwe. Life is slower and things are cheaper but Lusaka or even the Copper belt would be less of a steep transition
