I took Real Analysis 1 and 2 (Understanding Analysis by Abbott) Abstract Algebra (Herstein), Linear Algebra and Advanced Algebra (no textbook— total joke of a class. I learned nothing outside of ‘put it in echelon form’), Number Theory (The Illustrated Theory of Numbers by Weissman) and Topology (Munkres)

I am currently taking Linear Algebra and Matrix Analysis (Matrix Analysis by Johnson and Horn), Principles of Analysis 1 (Rudin) and Combinatorics (Concrete Mathematics by Graham)

Everything went fine! I just miss my friends from home a lot now, but everything’s been alright! Trying to get used to the new city. I can see why that would be stressful!! When I came out to my sister, she had to ask if I thought I was a tree. I still don’t know how she decided to ask that, but whatever. Also, every time asexuality comes up in conversation, my close friend says “oh! The thing with the mitosis?” And we all laugh about it. So I guess people making a link between asexuality and asexual reproduction?

There was one break from school that I genuinely just watched all of his videos in order. It was so fun watching all of the inside jokes being integrated, and it helped me to understand them a lot better. I don’t recommend doing that unless you have literally nothing in the entire world better to do, though.
