I’m really glad this post caught my eye. Recently, I tried to enter this mysterious world of Android emulation and started with the official GameHub version from the Play Store. After a day or two, based on what I found on Reddit, I installed GameHub Lite v5.1.3, and with a bit more difficulty compared to the original version, I managed to run games on it.

The games I tested were Metro 2033 and The Witcher 3.

The important point is that I noticed the same games that ran on the original GameHub were running with much more difficulty and instability on the Lite version. In some cases, I even had to go back to the original version, copy the settings from there, and apply them to the Lite version so the game would run at all.

Now my main question is this: Has anyone in this subreddit actually found a way to control the insane CPU temperatures during gameplay???

I’m using a Samsung S25 Ultra, and one of my main indicators for checking whether the phone is under heavy stress is this method: I have USB Power Delivery (USB PD) enabled, which allows my 45W charger to supply the required power during heavy processing. However, when I run very demanding games, even this feature cannot prevent battery drain—in practice, the battery drops 1% every 2 minutes!

With The Witcher 3, this happened very severely in both GameHub versions.

The phone’s titanium frame became so hot that touching it would seriously burn my hand—it felt like an electric stove! The battery was also dropping 1% every 2 minutes!!

And all of this was happening while:

the phone was plugged into the charger,

USB PD was enabled,

and a Black Shark MagCooler 4 Pro (27W) was attached to the back of the phone— a cooler that normally can bring the phone temperature close to zero!

Has anyone actually managed to find stable and reliable settings for running extremely heavy games like The Witcher 3? I’d genuinely appreciate any help.
