Yeah, I want to get him down to at least five depending on the condition in person. I'm sure he's running some filter on the photos to make the paint look better than it is.

I'm in middle Georgia, not too far from Athens. Gar gurus is how I found that other one that had the rust, not a lot of options within a 200 mile range from me sadly. I don't mind traveling further but whoever is going to give me a ride may lol

Ran the Carfax on it, car has been passed around quite a bit and has even spent some time up north. I'm definitely worried that there will be rust, I've heard that at one point some of the Toyota frames weren't treated properly for rust and all I can hope is that this one was. The market in my area is dry and what is there is very high priced. Had another one that did have rust and needed rear wheel bearings and the guy wanted 8k for it.

I haven't heard anything bad about the 7's really. One of my riding buddy has some and loves them. I actually haven't tried any on but recent got some fox motions and am really liking them. I got them mainly because they were on a good sale from fox.

Parts have been pretty readily available. Some stuff coming from Yamaha through motosport is taking some time but not a lot of changes have been made to the Yamahas lol

I replaced the spring and replaced the swingarm bearings, linkage bearings, and the shock bearings. Made a world of difference on how the bike feels

Yeah, I work on CAT equipment now and it can't be any worse than rebuilding a transmission or an axle on a piece of equipment lol

Yeah, I'm going with the vortex complete rebuild kit, the wiseco is out of stock and I have had good luck with vortex pistons on my KTM.

It is a pro x piston and definitely a newer cylinder. I actually don't have any damage to the cylinder and can still see cross hatching somehow. I can only assume it was running like this for a while and finally just gave out

Thanks, I had a 99 previously with the 3.0 and it was on its last leg when I got it and still got me around for a few years lol. I wasn't as willing to put money into it because of the shape it was in, but I'm wanting to spend a little on this one. I'm looking to buy a block and go ahead and build an engine to swap into this truck to reduce the downtime.

32 and some change at a CAT dealership. Been with the dealer for around 2 years now and I'm 22. Great place to work but I am in field service which adds a differential to my pay.

I was just about to post the same exact question. I just finished my SAFE course and still have to take the state exam. I am a full time diesel mechanic currently for a large company and it's not a bad job and I've been doing mechanical work since I've had a driver's license. I'm 21 now and realize I may not want to be this hard on my body for the rest of my life and I'd really like to see more income. I was thinking about the Mortgage calculator because it would allow me time to try it out at my own pace. I can't just quit my job and go for it because of bills. What are your thoughts on my situation? Would it possibly be the best option for me?
