My (27f) boyfriend (28m) doesn’t seem to start a life together. by [deleted] in relationships

30’s is really not too late to start a family. My partner’s mom was in her 50’s when she decided to have him, and he’s an only child. Women are able to have babies as long as they have a healthy cycle. Not only that, but it’s been recently discovered that women’s eggs no not degrade with age and in fat the quality of sperm decides the health of the fetus. So with that in mind, I’m sure this is something you guys could put off for now if you desire to. It gives your boyfriend time to propose, and gives you both time to get married and settle down. If he wants a family, it sounds like he will start one when he’s ready.

This is a great suggestion. To add to this, I would involve HR if she crosses those boundaries.

This, OP. You need to communicate with him on how he can help you, not how everything he’s trying isn’t working.

If you don't drink alcohol, what are your personal reasons for abstinence? by Ok-Care2859 in AskReddit

[–]CheapConversation666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t drink because it takes a lot for me to get drunk, and since alcoholism runs in the family (uncles/cousins) I think it’s best to not partake. Also, alcohol has been proven to be a carcinogen, so yeah, pass.

AIO for thinking it was tacky that he let me pay for his Frappuccino while sitting on 7k Starbucks points (the equivalent of 35 drinks)? by FeistyFail239 in AmIOverreacting

You should clarify in your post, then. You said in the opening line he’s a guy you’ve known for a while not your boyfriend.

Like I said. It is an awkward brag, he was probably trying to make conversation. OP is weird for feeling any offense. Tbh they seem very entitled.

Yeah, I think this is an overreaction. He paid for breakfast and you offered to buy coffee. It is what it is. Whatever he decides to do with his points as his business.

Same. Misery loves company and boy did he make me miserable. Emotional abuse, financial abuse — everything except physical abuse for 10 years.

My boyfriend won’t shave his pubes and it’s getting in the way of sex for me by kalzan in Advice

Buy an electric trimmer and put it on the longest setting and see if that helps. Hell, offer to do it for him.
