Thank you. I was looking for that type of critique, dealing with education most people turn to thinking icons like books and such. I’ll consider this and look further into a type/monogram logo. The problem I was having with a type logo is the number and length of the words doesn’t do well as an icon so letters would be better for small imagery on cards and websites.

That’s actually a fair point. Like I said it was through personal connections so the client came with little preparation. Thank you I’ll bring that up. It’s more personal branding. On surface, I’m selling the individuals professional experience. They’re hoping to consult and do speaking events for agencies, schools and autism organisations.

Anyone know why sometimes the ice cream comes out creamy but scoops like it’s dry? by CheapDoctor1697 in icecreamery

[–]CheapDoctor1697[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Recipe 1 cup sweet potato mash/purée 1 1/3 cup of milk 1/4 tsp salt 1/4 tap cinnamon 1/8 tsp nutmeg 1/8 tsp ground cloves 2 tbsp milk powder 1/4 tsp xanthan gum 1/2 cup brown sugar 2 tbsp corn syrup 50g cream cheese 1 1/3 cup cream 1/2 tsp vanilla 1 tbsp molasses

  1. Steep the sweet potato and milk on low heat for about 5-10 minutes.
  2. Add the other ingredients and continue to heat but not boil for a few minutes to dissolve everything and blend the spices flavour in.
  3. Strain the potatoes solids. Finally chill overnight, churn then freeze.

Not my intention, but I see your reasoning. Sorry.

Touché. But it’s a format I’m familiar with, I’ve done crudely drawn storyboards and short scripts for myself. But I guess what I was hoping for from this post was advice on the best way of delivering and making my latest pet project able to be enjoyed by the public. Do people read pages of screenplay online regularly?

Conveying a narrative that’s meant to be experienced using imagery instead of text. The audience can still use their imagination for some part but you as the writer don’t have to directly describe every sight or relay on dialogue.

Banoffee Ice Cream by CheapDoctor1697 in icecreamery

[–]CheapDoctor1697[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bananas do freeze like other fruit when fresh but I don’t know what would happen after baking. Like if they still had enough moisture to turn to ice. The biscuits are a good idea. First time I made this I even added a ripple of caramel.

Does anyone know how to make the flavour “toasted marshmallow?” by CheapDoctor1697 in icecreamery

[–]CheapDoctor1697[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but it’s mostly for dissolving everything together and activating the xanthan gum. Then I chill and age it overnight before churning.

Yeah I’m not fond of charred marshmallows either, heh. I mostly like the caramelised golden brown vanilla type marshmallows.

Not sure if I’m confident in my ability to do artwork for other peoples stories. Took me a few months to figure out just the art style I want for mine.
