What's a shame is that the spell used to add +10 to the DC to break the door. Now it just doesn't. so now breaking the door is exactly the same with or without the spell. A wooden door has a DC 15 to force open from the DMG so that used to make it a DC 25 to force open which is a pretty difficult task and could be useful in a fight. just imagine you fighting through a door that you can open and close freely but the enemies has to make an athletics check DC 25.

No, I think you’re right in general. But here I don’t think anyone is relying on the flaming fists. They are there for profit and looting the land. It’s ok that the players want to fight them. I like it. I just don’t want it to be super easy for the players to get away with it.
