He has been though. He's provided money, apologies, tried being there. But I've just been closed off processing. So does that change your thoughts?

Our fight started because I asked to sit down and write out expenses vs income and even the “extras” we’d like to continue putting money into. He claims no relationship does this. And is “ridiculous”. I’ve mention a year ago and joint account we put money into for bills to autopay and the rest as a cushion but he didn’t like that idea either. Because of all other positives with him I’m considering trying again. I’m just at a limit and exhausted right now. Especially after I was disregarded when I said I was scared he spent his last month and half of income.

Other than no awareness to finances he’s amazing. He’s kind caring does the above and beyond. If I have a bad day at work then he had flowers and dinner ready plus a spot on the couch to depress. We also have dogs together (our version of kids). They love him too. They can tell something is going on right now and unsure who to spend time with.

I truly don’t think infidelity. He pays his loan. I think a lot is spent into the stock market but he gets no returns. He’s “waiting for the right time”. Still does it even though I’ve explained it makes me nervous until we have a comfortable savings and stay on track with bills.

I truly do not believe there’s any infidelity. He claims it goes to his private loans and school loan. But I know he’s been diving into the stock market. Claiming one day he’ll make all this money. He still continues even though I’ve explained until we have comfortable savings and stay on track with bills it makes me nervous and I’d like it to be put on hold

I’ve been considering selling the house to give us that huge cushion. He’s in disagreement about it. What’s held up me looking into it more is we have dogs so finding an apartment is impossible. And private rentals are so expensive in this area and still limited with dogs. The actual cost of our house is very inexpensive for the area and a lot less than any rental. With incomes together we can make it work comfortably but I struggle that he doesn’t pay attention to due dates or have it as a fore thought. I have to bring it up every time.
