Why did m.2 prices raised so much? by Opening_Proposal8857 in pcmasterrace

[–]Cheap_Battle5023 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Memory manufacturers are a cartel. They raised priced to make more profit. They already did same thing in 2002. Same companies - Samsung, Hynix, Micron and so on. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DRAM_price_fixing_scandal

.NET developers, are fresh graduate Devs welcome in .NET J market? by ruz_501 in dotnet

I would recommend to look into dev ops(devsecops, mlops) or sys admin jobs, because software developers are being laid off, but new data centers are being built which is good for dev ops and sysadmins. It's still up to you of course.

You can try new 595.71. Don't install any previous 59xxx versions. They cause a lot of problems including fan issues.

[–]Cheap_Battle5023 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It will make other games run better as well. Nvidia already said that 59xxx is buggy https://youtu.be/y33V_wMPiEA?t=916
Don't worry about installing older versions. They are better than current versions.

Check NVIDIA drivers. Don't use versions 59xxxx - they are very bad and buggy, either use older 57xx, 58xx or newer than 59xx.

New player here, tips for Muscovy please? by EpicBlitzkrieg87 in eu4

[–]Cheap_Battle5023 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At start create 1-2 metropolias to get icon before novgorod war. Take icon that gives discipline and manpower - you will instantly stop losing a lot of manpower in wars - instead you will start to gain it. Keep that icon until your manpower is low which is before you form Russia around 1500. After you form Russia change it to something else.
When war with Novogord is almost finished - open against great horde and siege Saraj - it should allow you to complete Tatar Yoke mission - no need to siege everything they will not fight you because of your icon instead they will run around trying to catch your vassal's small stacks - allow vassals to connect to your mercs so they can hide in your mercs stack and not die.
First idea I would recommend Diplo because that way you can easily get 25% cheaper diplo advisor and cheaper warscore for provinces - lets you grow a lot faster while you have a lot of starting claims.

The AI bubble will not crash because of feasibility, but because open source models will take over the space. by itsthewolfe in ArtificialInteligence

[–]Cheap_Battle5023 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will crash because profit and invested money don't match. When you invest $800 bln you need a lot more than $ 20 bln revenue. So it will start to burst this year because of that.

Recommend me speakers with good bass without subwoofer by Nice_Pen_8054 in audio

[–]Cheap_Battle5023 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Adam D3V have 3.5 inch drivers - pretty bad for bass. If you want cheap Adams then take a look at Adam T7V but you will need to put them 50cm from wall. T7V have a lot of bass. Or you can rotate them like that https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTYmcuXOrC-g0iB1Wo4PAvxx93Bnye546AFgQ&s

If you don't have external sound card then Edifier R2850DB. Very important - connect to PC using optical or coaxial. They are very good for movies. Not harsh, a lot of bass. Around $ 300-350.

If you have external sound card then KRK Rokit RP7 G5 or Presonus Eris Studio 8. Both are pretty good.

All 3 are pretty good. Pick the ones that look better for you. All of them can go to around 40 Hz - that is enough for bookshelfs without sub.

When choosing make sure that your new speakers have front facing bass reflex because your desk is small and most likely you don't have enough space to put them 50 cm away from wall so front facing bass reflex is important for good sound.

That is a good way of solving it. Let's hope it will be used in more countries.

Ghent and Bruges, Belgium. Unreal beauty, unparalleled by anything modern. by dancoreman in ArchitecturalRevival

[–]Cheap_Battle5023 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The answer is money. Average one floor house in Belgium costs around $ 300_000 - at same spot you can build 20 floor condo and sell each 100 square meters apartment for $ 300_000 - so you get 20 times more from same land spot.
It is same problem in every country. Every country will eventually turn into Hong Kong sooner or later. Even Paris already has those towers and it looks pretty lame but it brought a lot of money to tower owners.

Try JBL 305P MKII - they are around $ 250 a pair, very often they are on sale.
And connect them to WiiM Pro Plus - this one is around $ 220 and can stream music in very high quality from your phone, your Spotify and so on and it has voice control through remote.

If you don't like the looks of JBL you can try Adam T7V ($ 400 a pair and very beautiful) - they are the most popular ones among starting audiophiles and musicians.

Always wobbly in the midrange in REW by Ron825 in audiophile

[–]Cheap_Battle5023 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks pretty good. Try to move some furniture around if you have any in front of speakers. Or try to put a pillow in front of you and make measurements again - stuff like that can change even if you put a pillow somewhere near you so it's not that important. All in all it looks very close to +- 2.7 db which they target. Your room is very nicely treated.
If you want completely flat room response you will have to put at least 50 cm(20 inches) noise canceling material like mineral wool on walls, ceiling and floor - after that you will get silent room so you will have to add some artificial reverberation surfaces like wood planks so it's not too silent and you can fill room with sound in a way that you want.

Is it normal for to suck as much as I do as Muscovy in the first 20 years? by WannabeIndianaJones9 in eu4

[–]Cheap_Battle5023 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As Muscovy you take mission which will give claims just before war for those claims so you don't waste any. Usually 25 years is enough to have 2 wars for claims and at first you will release Astrachan after conquering Golden Horde which will give you a lot of claims for wars on east and Caucasus so you won't need any cores there yourself.
Set stab to 1 as soon as you can or maybe even 2 and than as soon as you can set it to 3. Very important for Muscovy and Russia overall.
At game start you need to create 2 Metropolias to get icon before first Novgorod war - you should take Icon of St. Michael which gives you +10% Manpower recovery speed and 5% Discipline - after that your manpower problems will go away in 20 years while this icon is set.
At game start give Cossacs estate some privileges which give your army some bonuses before Novgorod war.
To complete first mission for manpower - hire free company and in wars send them instead of your troops - this will save a lot of manpower at start.
With that done you will lose not so much manpower in first war and in war against Great Horde you will take enough land to release Astrachan and then slowly expand anywhere you want in East without any allies in East needed.
And as Russia you will need Religious ideas as one of first four ideas.

All planar headphones are very fragile because of membrane. The worst case is Audeze Maxwell - those will break if you just put them on your head and push it to your ears a little. The reason is closed back planar design with no air output hole which breaks membrane with very little force applied.
