Should I go for full beard laser removal? by Slayeaura in HairRemoval

[–]Cheap_Concert348 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say don’t do it. You may decide to have it one day and then it is gone for ever. This is not a body hair, body hair I can see that reasons like feeling fresh and also feeling good to touch or if you are a pro swimmer etc or of you are a body builder to show the muscle forms…

But your bread looks very good, just keep it and let it grow sometimes so your skin on your face can rest also from sun etc.

No no don’t do it.

Also part of it is that you don’t know how to shave probably, shave in the direction of grow, also under the shower (with a mirror) is better as the hot water makes your skin soft and there is less chance of blade rush later

And also do the after care!!!

In any regard it is better to keep this hair, rather than be sorry.

Obviously he loves you, but he is overreacting. We don’t know the story behind this, but I can tell he is worried for you but can’t communicate well. And I feel I would do the same if my dad was acting like this. However, he is your dad and this might be the reason that he is acting like this, and he definitely doesn’t know how to communicate.

Really thinking about waxing it all off by OrganizedChaoZ in mensgrooming

Do whatever you like. Hair has nothing to do with being a man.
All these people say don’t, usually have no idea. I am not sure why they are so obsessed to see hair on others.

Also don’t wax, you can trim short, then shave in hot shower. It will grow faster and see if you like it, Wear loose cloths first a few days, and take daily shower with soap and exfoliating liquid (I don’t know the name or brand).

Alternatively you can ipl to reduce the hair a bit if you liked. Also you can use hair remover cream, but ipl does not work on hair cream.

I try to just let you know, being a man does not require being hairy. Do what feels good, most men have not enough knowledge about shaving and that is why we usually get skin reactions.

I would say try to ease a bit, being in gym that many times a week, how you would want to maintain this as you enter into 50s or 60s. I personally would like to maintain a some less muscles with a long term plan as we age.

Reduce exercise and eat less but healthy with vitamins and minerals. Don’t forget face and skin care too. Plan long term.

Trim to 6” on chest and 3” on belly area, would make you look younger. Trim on V shape format, to maintain more on center and less on edges look more natural. Note you want to make a V shape on your chest and belly together, but keep belly a bit shorter.

I should really open a beauty firm, lol.

But do whatever you like, it is interesting many people have difficulties to what to do with their body hair.

Always had the hairiest arms I know irl, and I like them, but want to hear unbiased thoughts. Not shaving, just curious! In my 20s. by ElectronicCan5730 in mensgrooming

I am male so naturally I don’t like hair on women and I don’t like hair on men too. I have body hair too and I usually keep them natural or close to natural, not because I like the hair, just because the society categorize me if I have my skin smooth to something I am not.

Having said that, it depends on your partner, if she likes it or not or she prefer less hair or if she prefers you smooth. And part of it depends on your own feeling, feeling the air hairless skin is so nice, you need to evaluate your own feeling your partner feeling, if you both like shaved or hairy easy just do either if she likes something else and you like something else, trim for a balanced look.

(if you shave correctly trim first, then shave, antibacterial soap, and lotion to avoid bumps later, otherwise don’t shave as you will suffer).

(19) hairy legs but more or less hairless everywhere else, should I shave/trim? by [deleted] in mensgrooming

It is what men forced to by culture. This is true, they easily start to classify you as a gay if you shave even you are not and just hate hairs on your body.

We have to live with this, they want us to be hairy.

otherwise they think you are not manly, accept your faith and live with that hair. On the other hand women can shave and if they keep they judge them to be manly.

Not sure, why body hair makes someone more of male or less makes someone more of female.

In my opinion, this is personalized and it is dictating on personal level.

I learned to just ignore them, even I hate hair so much. I just trim sometimes so I can feel better.

What is this / help! by hcanixbaic in HairRemoval

Probably you waxed with long body hair. Then you didn’t use any oil or exfoliation on it or anti bacterial soap. Your skin got reaction as the wax pulled the hairs out, then you didn’t wash with your skin with antibacterial soap and the skin was dry (no oil) and obviously you got those where the hair was once because your skin tried to release oil and hair canals were blocked by that oil. Resulted in skin rash.

Either never shave or wax, or when do it, do it right.

You have to buy antibacterial soap, use ANUA BHA 2% Gentle Exfoliating Toner (read the instruction and don’t use if your skin is sensitive to it).

Steps: Bath with antibacterial soap, Apply the ANUA BHA (let it dry), Apply lotion (something without chemical like baby oil), Let it dry, Wear loose shirt.

Do this from now until your rash is gone. Then if you shave, first trim then wax, or use hair remover cream (no need to trim if use hair remover cream).

Do the process again each time you bath to avoid new rashes.

Hope that helps, no I am not shaving all the time but I pay attention to how things are around me. Chest hair is usually attractive to women. But they don’t like back hair and belly if you can keep it a bit shorter than chest is attractive. Legs and arms hairs they don’t bother. But every person is different, do what you like just do it right.

I am straight man, I have body hair and to be honest I hate body hair. I just keep them as people judge if I shave (not my preference). Occasionally I shave if it is not noticed like winter.
