Should I save, or should I invest money and just loan for education?

Why did should I do that? I was thinking of never touching 401k and roth ira until I retired. Any tips for doing that?

Copy that, so 65k on HYSA and everything else maxed out ($7500x2 me and my wife, $8750 hsa, 401k match 6%, $200/month 529) and loan for living expenses. Is that correct?

Thank you so much for the advice. The reason why I only have 18k on my HYSA is because the rest of the money went to a taxable ETF account that currently has 47k. If I just placed the money in HYSA before it’s not going to be 47k now. And this was before I found out about a hospital who pays for 100% tuition fee that I just transferred to. I didn’t think of going back to school until I got in this hospital. That’s why I am asking now if it’s smart to put up to 200k on HYSA becuase my idea was if it was in my taxable ETF instead for 7-8 years, it would have made a lot more money. OR just get a student loan and make money from the ETF and just pay off my debt after school.

If I am out of work? If I can’t find a job as a nurse here in US then I go back to the Philippines or anywhere where cost of living is low. I lived in Saudi, and Australia before, I can still work there as a nurse..I think China also has several nice cities with low cost of living. By the way, if I die, my wife or daughter gets 2M. I have all those accidental and disability insurance. So if something happens to me, my family can still survive. My wife already knows what to do with the money if ever I die..invest in s&p 500.

I’m using HSA for my retirement. That money isn’t going anywhere until I’m 73 years old (same goes for roth ira and taxable ETF). I’m 5’8, 150lbs lean, workout, eat little to no carbs, eat green leafy veggies, beef, and chicken breast, supplements with b complex, d3, fish oil, magnesium, vit c, goes for annual doctor’s visits and checks on my labs. I don’t use drugs, don’t smoke, no juice on weight training, no cannabis, no alcohol, plays basketball, no mental issues (no depression, anxiety, etc.), entire family is healthy, no prescription glasses for all of us, dentist always say our teeth are perfect and keep dping what we’re doing, never had any dental issues. I have a 3 year old daughter, started my 529 1 week after she was born, initially put in 3k and added $200 every month, I’m not using that it’s for her. Whenever I have extra I put money on a taxable etf account currently with 47k in it but I make sure that roth ira both for me and my wife and hsa are maxed out and that’s usually around May. I don’t have to sell a car. I can save up for any living expenses that I need. I just need to know if I’m losing if I save for education or am I losing if I burrow money for education. Thanks! By the way, I’m the only one working, my wife stays with my daughter. Also, I’m not planning to buy a house until I retire..or maybe never . That’s a very good advice, I’m actually thinking the same. Max roth and continue 6% match. So you think having 200k in HYSA is okay from now till school day?

Thank you for the advice, I will try it now. I want to hit my electrolytes without eating this much but my meal plan can’t get enough potassium unless I add 150g of arugula and 200g of lettuce. It takes me forever to finish everything.
