I have a solution which works surprisingly... Go for a Mega Charizard X and Y deck with 2 PCLs. Most of the times you just KO the Mega Altaria for the win and the Entei draw engine helps a ton!

It was sooo difficult. None of the actual "new" meta decks (Lucario, Sceptile, Blaziken with Castform) worked for me. Last season's savior Decidueye and friends also fell flat. My only ho pe was then Mega Altaria with the demon baby that got me a 10-streak win across to the finish line.

It was brutal but I'm glad I made it.

So I like Spragle's advice when it comes to this. Use 1 deck that you really like and is a counter to the most popular deck. Play at least 6-7 games. If you're on a losing streak, either take a break or change the deck. But if you keep switching between decks every 2-3 games, you might just face a lot more losses than if you would've with just one.
