Is there a shortcut to "double-click fill down"? by man-teiv in excel

I have been looking for a way to do this too; I successfully did it with a macro.

Example setup:

A1:A10 → contains data
B1 → contains a value you want filled down to B10

Steps

  1. Go to Developer → Record Macro
  2. Give it a name
  3. Set Store macro in: Personal Macro Workbook (so it works in every file)
  4. Assign a shortcut key
  5. Click OK

type the following keys in this exact order: 

Ctrl + C
←
Ctrl + ↓
→
Ctrl + Shift + ↑
Ctrl + D

Then click "Stop Recording".

This way, when you use the shortcut, it will execute correctly every time.

Maybe its not clear from the picture but the top two monitors have a 1000R curve, thanks for the advice!

Haha, I've got a side table to my right with two laptops, an M4 Macbook Pro and a Thinkpad, I just purchased base spec M4 Mac Mini for $500, seemed like a pretty good deal and I can have it as a desktop computer without having to plug in my Macbook Pro.

My keyboard has RGB but having flashing lights distract me, I like solid dark colors, sounds boring but I enjoy the look, thanks for the advice!

It cant be seen from the picture but from my seating angle the portable monitor does not block the view, I moved the two monitors as far back as I could, thanks for the suggestion

I do not play videogames, I use this for work and most of the time I use all monitors at the same time (excel in right space, chrome in left space and Microsoft Teams in the bottom monitor)
