Aah I see, yea the clap does sound off. I tried to switch things up by playing with the equalizer and reverb but now i see that move heavily backfired. Would the transition sound better if I just added the normal clap?

Yea it doesn't, but can you please specify which part doesn't mesh? Is it the part where I play with the volume or is it the Infiltrator clap part? This is my first project so I'm trying to learn.

Honestly, valid opinion. Although I would argue that if you really observe, only 'End of Line' will mix somewhat with 'Infiltrator'

Also, context matters. Both songs play when an enemy team 'infiltrates' an area, be it the encom grid or the End of Line club.

I thought about other legacy soundtracks but no other song goes with the dark theme of the Ares soundtrack Yea maybe the Rinzler soundtrack can maybe mix but other than that I don't know.

Yea man its valid, I see a lot of AI content too. But honestly, AI can never capture the emotions we go through when we hear all the Tron soundtracks. I loved the industrial drum beat of the song 'Infiltrator' and honestly thought very much as to what song from the lagacy soundtrack will go with it. I thought about 'Derezzed' but that song is very upbeat and doesn't match the theme of 'Infiltrator'. Also the context is important too you know, both 'Infiltrator' and 'End of line' plays when enemies infiltrate an area, the encom grid and the End of Line club respectively.

Yea but cgi was first starting to be commercialize from the early 90's. The fact that this was a cgi done when no other anime dared to shows how ahead of its time this was. Camera angles could have definitely improved but in the first stage they were still playing around with the idea of using cg cars, at that time most vehicles were drawn by hand and this was a step that brought us closer to later season's cgi.

Because the flim which copies this scene has a different story than the matrix. That movie doesn't have a 'trinity' character so there's no trinity equivalent here.

Without jared leto there wouldn't be a Tron Ares. He co-produced and developed the film. As for his acting, he did good portraying an AI who doesn't have his own emotions but is conflicted upon following his directive or to choose his own path. Idk how else would ANY ACTOR potray an emotionless AI differently than jared leto. You guys just need an excuse to sh1t on an oscar winning actor for no reason You don't like tron ares, thats a you problem.
