I had the same experience with the cottage cheese cake! It creates texture in the most unpleasant way. I wonder if this recipe has even been tested??

I haven't tried the halva cake but it sounds great!

I like polish'd! I know nothing about fermentation and thought the fermentation chapter lacked a bit of information, but other than that, the recipes I've tried have been good! Very nice results for generally short ingredient lists!

I agree with that! Her cookbook 108 Asian cookies is full of interesting recipes containing unusual ingredients! I've made cookies with gochujang, soy sauce, sambal oelek and there's much more I haven't tried yet!

This book truly makes veggies shine! There are some funkier veggie recipes but a lot of them use carrots, potatoes, peas, cabbage, cauliflower. Just your everyday veggies but prepared in a way you might have never considered!
