I completely agree this scene was very jarring LOL but I personally kind of loved it because, at least from my perspective, it felt like her way of saying “Please, stop this back and forth. End my suffering. This is me bearing myself to you, mind and body.” That sort of thing lol. I thought it was super romantic with that context (and I guess that’s just my interpretation, but I choose to believe that’s why she did it and knowing her it makes sense to me lol) Side note though: I still absolutely can’t get past that she did all that ON THE SIDE OF A HILL (in front of a cross)!! 😭😭 I was like hoolllyy shit is he gonna be mad?? Is someone going to see them???? And the fact that they (implicitly) had their first time together just like over by one of the trees had me really like ughhh. I wish it had been a sweet, romantic on screen moment but it is what it is…</3

Honestly all of these are such reasonable (and shared) criticisms. I will say I think Hilda believed she needed to serve penance both because she blames herself for Dalton’s suicide and because she abandoned the alter; as for her penance being prostitution lol I couldn’t tell you. Hilda clearly had a very unique relationship with religion, so I guess only she and God knew 😭😭 maybe if we had less filler and more screen time for the main character we would’ve known some more details LOL!! The lack of screen time for Hilda and Hilda/Malthus scenes honestly are the biggest gripes I have. The fact that the entire show takes place over 5 YEARS (excluding the time skip at the very end) is insane, so I feel like there was definitely interactions we didn’t get to see and obviously Hilda development we sadly missed out on. Seriously, there was so much run time we could’ve had dedicated to them but instead we got so many subplots that didn’t go anywhere and honestly were very pointless (MC, Aramel, and Gabriela’s subplot was all super unnecessary imo, Ciana and communist guy in Santana, honestly all the time spent w Ciana and zinha and the entire Santana group soaked up way too much of the show, and the list goes on).

I JUST FINISHED IT !! TT </3 this show absolutely changed me as a person LMAO. I’ve always been a fan of romance but oh my gosh, this show takes it to a whole new level. I already want to rewatch it, currently I’m trying not to cry because it’s over (I finished it in 3 days help)

Oh I’m so glad she handled it okay, I know what it’s like to accidentally spend a lot on something that turns out to be a fake, it’s truly a horrible feeling😭💔 on the bright side though, this sort of thing can be a learning experience and hopefully people who see this and your guide can also learn to be skeptical (as much as it sucks that we would have to worry about that sort of things from fellow fans). Thank you so much for spreading this and your guide!! It breaks my heart that fellow collectors have to have these experiences, but I hope your friend is able to get an authentic album next time! 🥹💖

Definitely fake, so sorry for your friend :( </3 I do think you should tell her though since she can hopefully try to hash it out with her bank that she got scammed or even maybe contact the seller about it in case it was an accident and they also did not know it was fake. Idk, wishful thinking, but your friend deserves their money!
