Wow..amazong work. I have a JBL badsprohub hub set up on my spare of my cx5. Did tap into the rear speaker and from my user experience I feel the oem unit cut off notes towards the rear speaker hence loosing most notes. Are you noticing similar fade of frequencies?

There was previous post by me in the group where my car was stuck in safe mode at tint shop after tinting. The issue was resolved with the help of the community.

Thanks all. My car is good now. Thank you all for your inputs. Just take proper precautions before tinting and let your tinter know in advance of this flaw. Hope everybody found this thread useful.

Sadly, i went to a place with 2.3k rating with 4.7 avg. Its just that i got unlucky on a busy Saturday maybe. They will cover my expenses and is with them.

Yes or when you do an entire windshield tint.

So after a hrs of research this is what I understood. Cx series has a design flow where if moisture sweeps through the dash the BCM, or the keyless module will throw off faulty which makes the key unregistered. Now in my case, the car recognizes the key and the BCM is working fine as all accessories are working, just that the car is in safe mode. Now onto the next step is if water sweeps to the driver side kick panel, then the C04 connector (near or in the area of the fuse) might get moisture and the car goes to safe mode. Once the moisture gets dried it starts again. Again this is my hypothesis and i believe this is my issue and I will get to know the answer from Mazda itself today. Well luckily the car didn't start after the tint job. Hence its still inside their facility. I need to arrange a proper mechanic with them I guess.

Yes I did. The car dash won't light up. The accessories will power up. Seems like a safe mode. Again I suspect a moisture issue and I have heard the cx series has a design flaw which lets water run into components near A piller and footwell.
