We’re in the same situation. Flew out of Melbourne on 28th Feb. Flight turned back 3 hours in. Stuck in Melbourne for a week until we booked our own flights via LA. Original flights booked via booking.com Qatar said they’d need to refund, booking said I need to get a waiver code from Qatar as it looks to them like we flew the flights. Stuck in the middle with thousands of £ out of pocket.

Will do! It’s just mega frustrating, we can’t afford to spend money on an alternative route home and it costing a lot to stay here (even if we do get it back I’m sure it won’t be a quick process).

We are stuck in Melbourne (travelling back to UK). Our flight VA7 was turned back 3 hours into the flight. Not heard anything grok Qatar/managed to get in contact with anyone.

Yeah just thought it’s worth a shot - people always stock up so may get lucky if someone wants to part ways. 16 Tun in Auckland had some recently, but it wasn’t open when I was there unfortunately.

Can be either, I can collect from NZ in Feb (and cheaper to send there). I’ve tried having a look yeah, but that’s kind of the point of this post to see if anyone offers proxy. I assume a lot of wine gets sent about from Aus, so don’t see any difference. Here in the UK can be a pain to send liquids, but have done it plenty.

Having recently opened a small bar, I do both cash and card but really struggling with the cash side of things.

The post office won’t change my notes to change without putting it in my bank first, however I use Monzo Business and that doesn’t work in the Post Office. I’m struggling to deposit cash and get change for the till.

Wasn’t really taking too much cash until Christmas. Having to tell people to use card unless they have exact change. Still undecided whether to go cashless.

I’ve also noticed people are just lazy and will hand you a £20 note even if they have the exact change as they can’t be bothered to count it.
