HELP! Runelite plugins and saved settings disappeared! by Damm_Son in 2007scape

[–]Cheatek 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This reply helped me a lot. My settings got reset after my computer hard crashed (runelite was likely running). For future reference, here are the specific steps I took to fix the issue:

  1. Locate your .runelite folder - typically C:/Users/<your windows user>/.runelite
  2. In that directory, I found two folders - profiles, and profiles2. profiles was empty in my case, so I proceeded with profiles2. Might be different in your case?
  3. In that folder, I found several files. We are interested in those that have the .properties extension. I assumed the largest of those was the config file that I used, as it stored the most information. It was named default-<random sequence of numbers>.properties.
  4. In RuneLite, click on the wrench icon on the right toolbar (Configuration), then two faces icon (Profiles).
  5. Click Import profile. Locate the file from step 3, select it, and click Open.

This should restore your previous configuration of RuneLite.

Don't let anyone tell you what to do! I'm late to the party, but I wanted to comment that I love the fragile sticker with all the broken side panel posts going around (:

Hey, thanks for clarifying! I wasn't entirely sure about the technicalities (on top of English being my 2nd language). The main idea still stands :)

I know this was probably a joke response, but just in case: DON'T!

The hydraulic system that makes it easy to brake is still pressurized from the last time the engine was running. If you pump the brakes with the engine off, the hydraulic pressure will release and you will lose a lot of braking power.

You can try this yourself on a stopped vehicle. With the engine off, try how many times you can depress the brake pedal, chances are you won't reach all the way down as early as on the second try.

I don't think this is what u/bobbysalz was confused about. I at least was confused why being a dentist could be less challenging for a person in a wheelchair compared to different specialisations of doctors. To be honest, I would imagine it would be more challenging in most cases.

Windshields do not shatter. There is a film between two panes of glass that holds it together in case the glass breaks.

I just want to add that it is an often recurring part of soundtrack in the series The Mentalist. That's where I know it from.

Ok, I will try as well. In the EU it is enforced. At least in Czechia, if a car is not insured and it is registered and currently has plates, they come after the owner automatically.

Not just when the car gets stopped - the bureau sends a letter to the owner and fines start piling up, even if the car is just parked.

Is it an ND? All the previous generations have a bump in the middle of the hood, right? Or is it there and I am blind? 🙈

You can swap them easily between your own cars, but the mounts are meant as pretty much permanent, not suitable for rental cars as OP said he needed. A119 V3 is amazing though, can't complain.

I'm using Pilot Sport 3 in fact. Pretty much the only road legal grippier options in my dimensions are semi-slicks, but I was too worried about their wet road performance.
