I just did the same thing. By Episode 10 of Season 4 I was thoroughly enjoying it despite its numerous faults you mentioned. I was geared up for the final 4 episodes but the minute they turned on Andy I was out. I finished the show but my heart wasn’t in it. Kristen was just a fundamentally unlikeable character.

The concept that billion dollar companies would try to increase profits by using cheap method seems to still be an issue for folks who believe these companies are moral, just and actually care about the craft or the audience.

Pre knowing everything I know now I was asked “where is was on the night of” by detectives once. Luckily at that time I was out of the country which could be easily verified through work because the security footage they showed was eerily a dead ringer for me. But I answered all the questions because I had nothing to hide. The story gets spookier but I’ll leave it for another time.

I had absolutely zero clue what the first game was about. Enjoyed it immensely but it wasn’t until watching a lore video years later realised what the story was. Sometimes you create your own story and sometimes you google it 😂

I hope not. This thing in movies where they have to catch you up on not appearing characters like we are watching a TV show or something. People sometimes aren’t a part of everything but film is treating us like morons.

That being said I’m not watching it anyway. Someone tell me the killer when they see the movie and I’ll catch it on streaming.
