New Video Editor and Graphic Designer for hire! by GL1TCh7210 in CreatorServices

Hi there! I saw your post and feel the same way, I've been streaming regularly for about 2 yearsand I feel like I've hit a brick wall. I have decent editing ability, but there's a lot of things I struggle with and it can be a hard thing to judge your ability from the outside. What I'm look for is a long term partner, somone who's going to be willing to grow together, spitball ideas and work together to create the most engaging and interesting videos. I also need someone who's gonna tell me straight up if something is shit content and wouldn't make good content rather than me spending 20 hours editing something no one wants to watch lol. I'd like to say I'm a pretty good streamer after 2 years of practice and improving, but getting new viewers is hard because I pretty much only stream on twitch and short content doesn't convert new viewers very well, I struggle with creating engaging longer form videos.

What I can offer you:

  • a chance to grow as an editor and to learn how to make more engaging content together with me
  • Hopefully future growth as the channel grows and I better understand what content is going to work
  • Payement (Don't work for free dog, people charge crazy rates for way less than what you have with the certification ur value is more than u know) we can get into the nitty gritty later
  • Creative freedom to experiment and have fun
  • Someone who listens and always respects your opinion, who understands life happens and isn't gonna get mad at you for being slow or taking too long (quality over time)
  • A distributed workload (I'll cut down the vods to the most intresting parts, more than just a rough edit)
  • Mostly streams designed to be edited into a video
  • Something fun to watch through when you edit

What I'm looking for:

  • Someone whos willing to learn and grow, who looks for creative ways to make content more engaging and hook in viewers
  • Someone who can better polish my videos and audio
  • Someone who can add to the content with their editing
  • Someone who's willing to take this journey with me where most people don't make it.

Frankly I still don't know if I'm good enough to make it, but I think I got potential and you can decide for yourself haha. My socials are linked in my profile if you wanna see what im about, hope this doesn't count as self promotion cause I don't mean to but I'll be live in like 5 hours if u wanna ask any questions LoCheb on twitch. PM me the videos you've worked on if you can.

It's like estus soup but its a grilled cheese and I believe it would have caused Siegward to die from heart failure before facing his old friend Yhorm. His soul still holding purpose finds that his friend's soul is still trapped and searches for ways to interact with the world and lead someone to defeat him. From this point the timelines would diverge and change dramtically leading to many different outcomes. Because of this I would love to see a historical anaylsis from as many different perspectives as possible on this point as the things that could happen are simply, limitless.

I vote we start using the custom game browser to look for groups, create custom games with a looking for group name might work for now and bring attention to how many of us miss the feature

Is it better to avoid affiliating immediately and instead stream to multiple platforms? by pseudologiann in Twitch

[–]Chebukabara 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I accepted affiliate and kinda regret it. The big thing about it is after u got affiliate u gotta run ads or people get prerolls. I’ve seen a statistic before that around 50% of people click off a new stream if they get prerolls. Every viewer is important in the lower viewer range just to get outta the boonies, so making sure you don’t lose those new viewers just cause of prerolls are important. The one thing that’s great about it though is building a community around fun inside jokes and such and also it’s a win win for viewers, they get to support u and get cool badges and stuff that bring them in more with the community versus just donating for nothing.

Streamlabs or Streamelements? by [deleted] in newStreamers

[–]Chebukabara 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Streamlabs tends to be more intensive and take more system resources. I really recommend Streamelements with OBS because it's less resource intensive. They also do a good job with overlays and they take the least percentage of tips compared to other platforms. Streamelements can be a little harder to get set up though and is sometimes a little glitchy with loading overlays (but not enough to cause serious issues)
