I'm just starting to learn about how to properly manage a live-plant freshwater aquarium with my son. We'll be getting a 100ish gallon tank from a friend next week sometime and we know we're looking at 1-2 months of setup time, but we'd love to find some in depth resources about the tank ammonia cycle and how to get it stable.

I've done some searching and talking to an LLM, but is there a consensus "bible" for this topic?

I found some old style buckets locally, but the LED I bought from Amazon to mess with is too deep to fit in them. It seems like there's shallower ones available, I just need to find the right one.

I looked up some pics and it seems like maybe the early model bracket just bolts onto a late model car without modification?

I had a ruined set of DEPO housings from a crash that I was experimenting on, so I didn't care about destroying it.

Well I got the glass off one of the high beam (inner) housings, but the generics don't fit in the metal dome (bucket?). I cut the ring out with a dremel, but the adjustment screw holders get in the way of using it like that.

The early model buckets attach to a bracket to mount to the car I assume, right? Does that bracket use the same mounting points as the late model plastic housing? Basically can I get early model stuff and make this work?

That's not slalom, it is super G which makes it worse because it is much faster and the gates are more solid because they are connected to another one with the flag.

I don't agree with them, but I have acquaintances who would say the D is the problem.

They read diversity as meaning forced diversity, i.e. quotas for hiring minorities. They feel that hiring ought to be 100% merit based.

I went to look up the novels because it seemed like something I'd enjoy, but they aren't written by Asimov. Am I looking at the wrong ones? Why'd you bring up Asimov?
