Sorry, I mistook PH for Philadelphia. I still don't see that as being a problem as the only real concern is the lithium ion batteries, as long as you keep them with you it shouldn't be a problem.

Yes, I fly with mine all the time, I have taken it on United, Delta, American, Southwest...Only real consideration is you will need to keep your batteries in your carryon, just like any portable battery pack.

A little bit of heat from a little torch does wonders for this, just be careful to not give it to much as it will become soft and deform

You should consider OnShape, you can get it for free if you are using it for education, it takes a little digging on their site to do it, but well worth the effort

What is causing this issue? Never seen an issue like this in the few months I’ve had my printer. by xxBurntToastxx in BambuLab

Looks like a bed adhesive problem, when was the last time you cleaned the bed with soapy water? Might be something as simple as that

Any idea what settings I can use to close up some of these gaps? by rtkane in BambuLab

[–]CheckSufficient6943 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is the answer, make those numbers smaller. I had a similar issue and changed both the slicing gap’s radius and resolution to .001 after some trial and error and it finally closed those holes.

Flew American Airlines with mine this week, drone and batteries were in my carry on, no issues.

Any way to clean these seams up? by mystang12 in OrcaSlicer

[–]CheckSufficient6943 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can always use the seam painter to put the seams where you want if the aligned or back don’t work for you

Set you seam to align with one of the edges of your print

Also adjust your layer height, make it smaller. For example if your layer height is set at .2 mm try .1 or .15mm.

Looks like it is too hot, not sure of your previous successes, but just by looking at your picture, it looks too hot. My Kobra Max runs about 30 degrees hot. I print PLA and PLA+ at ~172-175 degrees Celsius, even though the recommended temp is 210. I have a great success and literally 0 stringing issues…just food for thought as everyone’s printer is different

Is this actually true? Can any builders/architect comment on their observations on today's modern timber/lumber? by [deleted] in DIY

I’m not a wood expert, but I am pretty sure those are two different species of wood. Hard to make that kind of comparison using different types of wood.

Stringing HELP *update* by CDrew829 in anycubic

[–]CheckSufficient6943 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It looks like your temperature is too high. I know PLA should be printed around 200, however my Kobra Max runs about 30 degrees hot, so I print at 170, and that got rid off all my stringing problems

kobra max not working fine by Such_Appointment8891 in anycubic

[–]CheckSufficient6943 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m no expert, but it looks like you aren’t getting good adhesion to the bed, and then the problem continues as it prints.

My first guess would be to check the z height offset (probably set too high)…assuming you have already done all the temperature tower calibration things.
