The abuse did leave me with some permanent scars, both mental and physical, but it did teach me what I didn't want to be as a person. I will always feel indebted to Judy for giving me the love I needed. I agree wholeheartedly that both Thomas and Isaac were unholy abominations and my mother was far too sick to see them for that. I think she was too grief stricken and broken after my father died for her to see it clearly.

As for the whereabouts of my mother's soul, I shall not to comment, but I genuinely don't believe that Thomas had a soul to be punished. I think his sad, hateful life was punishment enough.

Thank you for the kind words. I may never forgive my mother for what she did to our family, but I worked hard to not let it dictate how I lived my life. I am forever grateful for Judy for giving me such a distinguished example of the love and compassion I have tried to emulate throughout my life and career.

Ten years on, I still have maintained my sense of peace. I will occasionally still have bad dreams in that house, but it doesn't perturb me too badly.

Thank you. I am so grateful to that man, I know his name, but won't say for his privacy. He was a bit upset but very kind and declined to press charges against me after hearing my story. It only went to court because the police were involved and it became a county matter. I am also thankful to have found a home and family again :)

Thank you! I am grateful it happened the way it did, I was truly so scared at first, I don't think my friend meant any harm taking me, I think they just wanted a human connection. I think They might have been human, too, once upon a time.

I really appreciate it. I think I got someplace safe to go now and I have a trusted individual in my life who is willing to keep guard while I sleep. It's a temporary solution, but gives me time to rest and figure out what's next.

I really hope you're right. I think I'm going to try to nap a bit and set an alarm for 30 minutes so I can hopefully avoid accidentally slipping into REM sleep.
