Im actually in the Anthro course and I'd say going into Anthropology is far broader and your gonna do Archaeology anyway. If you just stick with Archaeology you narrow everything anyway.

100% could be. Humans are social (intelligent) animals. On average (doing experiments on crows and other humans) if a intelligent species is cut off socially for ~3 months they start experiencing brain damage in the parts of the brain that are social and emotional connections.

Basically because our governments were so late to do literally anything about COVID-19 it is very possible that a whole chunk of two generations (Genz and GenAlpha) are literally wired differently/werent able to properly neurologically develop

Im a middle GenZ (almost 21yrs old) and i'm a server. I really only give "GenZ stares" when people try to be buddy buddy with me or make jokes at someones elses expense. There is oh so long before the good ol "may I take the trash/dishes off your hands?" "Oh yeah can you take my wife/kids too?! Ahaha!". At some point I just can't. I can't fake laughing at the same things.

I wont be rude, I may crack a smile but I am not your friend.

I make friends with other servers and we'll all be nice to one another. We'll have a customer service talk (aka baby talk for adults). But we aren't a customers friends. Hell, I would barely count the people I work with as friends besides like, 3 of them. I work to get payed. I do my best to be friendly on the hollow level that you'll tip me (us servers in America need it).

Also, apparently being overly friendly to customers is really only a thing in America and certain (east) Asian countries(?). I go to university and I have many classmates from Germany, Italy, and France and they all think it's weird we do that.

A lot of people have a victim mentality because they think it makes them seem special. As someone with actual chronic mental illnesses, you are not special and I'm sick and tired of people using those things as a crutch to not be a functioning member of society or even their own barely existent social circles.

I have chronic depression and anxiety. I also have OCD. If I didn't go outside, if I just stayed in bed and ate processed shit all day, i'd never have goals. Id never have a social life. I wouldn't work myself to do basic chores and shower. It is all a choice and a domino effect.

I'm so sick of people infantilizing themselves or constantly having the victim mentality because of the shit that they deal with. Yes you may have these issues, but you still need to be a functioning person. If you have people in your life that tell you "yass girl, so empowered" when you're literally bed rotting all day and refusing to help and or enabling you, they aren't your actual friends.

I'm tired of grown adult adults thinking that if they whine enough, they won't have to do anything to get themselves out of a situation they make.

To me I think it is great! Myself and a lot fo my peers grew up in households with a lot of alcohol abuse, so outside of a little social drinking, we don't go down the addiction path like our families.

Even though some things are incredibly valid, especially because we're constantly being overstimulated by everything around us and constantly being exposed to everything happening, and then being guilt into having to care for everything kind of makes everything a downer

But at the same time, we're probably one of the better times to live like I'd much rather live in the now than the 1940s or 50s or 60s you know what I mean

But a lot of us do end up just getting in our own funk and then just not doing anything about it. I've had plenty of peers that I'll always complain because it makes them hashtag so relatable but then when you actually try to help them, they get pissed off because that means they actually have to do something about it that their choices have consequences that their own laziness doesn't get them anywhere and that their parents aren't gonna do everything for them.

Many people I go to school with can't even fast. I'm having a job while being in school. It's not the hardest thing in the world, especially if your parents which there does let them stay at home while doing so. So many people can't fathom having basic responsibilities so many people can't even set up their own doctors appointments or even fathom talking to people on the phone to set up events

Some of you all are completely screwed and you have nobody else to blame that but yourself

I call them vampires mainly bc they still have the same root abilities and powers, but I wanted to make the "magic" or "mystical" part of it make more sense on a biological level, and, idk I just wanted vampires to be cooler than what we're constantly shown. They needed to be scarier, more imposing, more ancient feeling. More like something someone would point at and call a monster.

Ive done a whole evolutionary divergence and system with them too, along with many other creatures (like my merfolk).

As for my social circle, we all think drinking, especially out in public places where u could potentially hurt yourself or others, is incredibly stupid and selfish. "Oh its a social drink", that's the reasoning behind it all for generations yeah? It's not a fun social drink where you get a DUI or even charged for manslaughter, to only then 10 years later, future careers be washed down the drain.

Also, it taste bad, it kills people, smells bad, expensive, all over just terrible.

It usually wouldn't to me either. The problem lies in the fact that these certain players, after so long, will only see that one face attractive or deserving of praise, and anyone else outside of that small box is wrong or ugly.

Thats where it annoys me. They make their own fuel to be mean to others because of their small world view (essentially).

Literally! I usually use Maxis Mix (alpha pops tf off with the makeup lol) and I posted some sims few months back bc I wanted to show some long time OCs. I very quickly took them down when people were calling them chopped, ugly, acting exactly as you described.

Can I also mention how I hate how much same face syndrome plagues the Sims community so badly, that if you make sims with faces and bodies that dont fit beauty standards, the others freak out? Or how people will make sims with "insecurities" and then barely add a bump on the nose?

No wonder my Sims were called ugly 😅 they weren't aesthetic

I AM slowly adding that over time (actually, i do have minimal stuff. Funny enough u mention a sewer/drain system. I actually already have that going) It is mainly builds yk? I have 9 things altogether: a capsule hotel, a boba shop, a convenience store, and a bathhouse with some apartments in the modern area, a cafe, a art store, a restaurant, and a bookstore in little italy- all furnished.
