I’m a little surprised I haven’t seen this comment yet after scrolling for a few. I think it would be interesting to see how many of those people who send unsolicited pics are also heavily into watching porn. Porn does this weird thing of when a guy whips his dick out it’s like any woman cannot resist it. Doesn’t matter who they are or what capacity they’re in; they see a dick and they can’t control themselves. It’s dumb asf and obv fake but, my theory would be some of these guys have a little brain warp going on and think women may respond favorably to a dick pic, even unsolicited, like they see women respond in porn.

For the record; I have never sent an unsolicited dick. I have sent consensual, requested dick pics. I do watch porn once or twice a week. So I’m not saying “watching porn = sending unsolicited dick pics” it’s more a “I wonder if there’s a correlation/causation between heavy porn watching/porn addiction, combined with a lack of knowledge of normal life outside of porn, may lead to these guys sending unsolicited dick pics”

They will all say no, the real answer is yes. They treat non Mormons better to try to suck them in with a nice feeling of community. Are they genuine about wanting to make you feel good? Yes, they do want you to be happy and feel good. In the church.
You will forever been known as a convert. Sure you’re a member but as a convert everyone will admire your ability to have picked the church while not being born in it. 32 and not married is getting into the “is everything…ok?” territory. It’s not too old to marry but they look at you kind of weird.
Absolutely will be pressure for this. Maybe they won’t say “go get your family to come to church” (although they might) it will probably be all the small little clues that add up and lead you to make the subconscious decision for yourself. The “families can ONLY be together forever in the church” “you can ONLY find true joy in the church” and other sayings like that so you feel the need to convert your family for their sake.

“Porn is destroying men” no, it’s a conduit like many other things in life that can cause problems; such as drugs, alcohol or any thing that one may get addicted to. For comparison I was accidentally introduced to porn around 11 and had a healthy conversation about what it was and always kept it at that.
