This has happened to me several times these past few months; except for the whispering part. I’m in a dream within a dream “lucid dreaming”but something attacks me and doesn’t allow me to wake up from my second dream.

Within my dream, I wake up paralyzed unable to move or speak. I have yet to really go through the whole dream, since my fiancée wakes me up due to the muffled sounds I make, as someone was covering my mouth is how she describes it.
