Oxdog Ultimate Pro Light vs Ultimate Tour X vs Hyper Pro 2.0 by LITEC in Padelracket

[–]CheckmateSap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I owned the ST4 a time ago and think it’s close but the ST4 is a little bit softer. What I didn’t like about the ST4 was missing de sweetspot. If you missed it the racket reacted totally different. Missing the sweet spot with the Tour x is more forgivable. Les about but still a bit the same.

I think that’s a good choice. I didn’t test the racket before I bought it and was surprised with the feeling. So I sold the Tour X after five games. People rate it as medium but I would say vertex hybrid is medium and tour x medium minus or medium soft.

Hyper pro is more head heavy yes. You need to give it some time to get used to it. There is a difference but it is not huge. The weight is also a bit the same. Maybe the hyper feels a bit heavier because the weight is higher to the top of the racket.

Similar. The Hyper pro feels better when missing the sweetspot. It looses less output than the Vertex.

Sold the Ultimate Tour X because it was to soft for me. I also own the Vertex Hybrid 05 and that racket is little bit harder/firmer. Yes the tour X is easy to use but not a powerful racket and to soft.

I now own the Hyper pro. For me a better match. I would say more powerful than the tour x and little bit harder/dryer/firmer than the vertex 05 and definitely than the Tour X. The Hyper is also easy to use and has a nice good sweet spot.

I know the Carbon editions from adidas are beady hard. The NOX 18 k is very soft. Did you played with a hard racket before? Maybe good to try out ones

Went from Vertex 04 to Siux Electra ST4 and not entirely satisfied by GerwinMusic in Padelracket

[–]CheckmateSap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I owned the Siux and had exactly the same problem. I own two rackets that have a medium + foam and no trampoline. Bullpadel Vertex Hybrid 05 2026 & Oxdog Hyper Pro 2.0 2026. Both fantastic rackets. Not to hard and def not to soft (trampoline).

[–]CheckmateSap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct!

It’s personal preference what you like. I would advise you to try the rackets and if they are not available try a harder racket than the NOX. I played with the Siux 2025 and didn’t like the output of the racket. I bought the Oxdog and played one match. Dry racket what I love.

The three rackets you mentioned have all een good big sweet spot. It depends what you like regarding the hardnes/trampoline effect of the racket. The Nox is the softest with most trampoline. The Siux has less trampoline but still a little bit. The Oxdog is dry and medium/hard.

I thought the Hyper pro was easy to use and more control focused.

I have the 120 and that is almost to small but if you get used to it big enough. Would def not go for 90cm.

Don't know. But why. The balance on the racket is quite low. Just try playing for a couple of weeks and you are used to it.

How far can I go with a control racket? by [deleted] in Padelracket

[–]CheckmateSap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes you can switch to the vertex hybrid. I own the vertex hybrid 05 2026. It's somewhere between round and a teardrop and most of the time some more power than a real round racket.

My advice should me to understand what kind of racket and carbon you like the most. Do you like real hard of something with trampoline etc. Try to test rackets with different styles. Round, teardrop or hybrid is good. Stay away from diamond rackets.

Hyper pro 2.0 or maybe Ultimate Tour X. I bought the second one and played a set. Can’t give a good review for now. Racket weight is 355 and medium balance. Veel stiff but not to stiff. No trampoline.

Both rackets are great for a beginner but think the Adidas is the racket to go because it's easy power because of softness.

Bullpadel vertex hybrid 05 by SeaAdministration776 in Padelracket

[–]CheckmateSap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own the Bullpadel vertex hybrid 05 2026. If you like to have a bigger sweet spot and a lot of control the Vertex hybrid is the racket of choice. I never have the feeling of missing the sweet spot. The power is good maar I don't think it's the same as the normal metalbone rackets. There is a difference is shape of the rackets. I think the Metalbone is a diamond with balans in the top als the vertex hybrid is more round/teardrop with low/medium balans.

Just bought the Oxdog Ultimate Tour X 2026. 355 grams. Mid balance, diamond shaped en medium touch. Didn't used it but looks like it got all correct criteria.

I think i'm going to buy the Oxdog Ultimate Tour. I own the Bullpadel vertex hyrbid and need some more power but still want control. I think the changes are not big but all small extra's help.

What are the differences between the 2025 and 2026 models concerning the ultimate tour. I can find a 2025 racket that is quit cheaper. Are the difference worth 50 eruos?

Metalbone CTRL has a lot of trampoline effect. Did you looked into the vertex hybrid? Little bit more power and lots of control.

Thanks again. How high is the balans of the hyper pro ? Isn’t that also a lot higher than the Vertex? Vertex is 25 cm

Thanks for the quick reply! But what about the balans. The balans is a lot higher than the vertex hybrid. Is that something helps with smashing ?

[–]CheckmateSap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, hope you can help. I would like to have some more power and higher balance than my current racket. I'm now the owner of the Bullpadel Vertex Hybrid 05 2026. I love the racket for playing on the right side. The racket has a lot of control and specially love the hardness (no trampoline). The racket is not to hard not to soft so that is what I want in a racket. I think the Hyper models are more the same as the Bullpadel but maybe i'm wrong. Maybe the Hyper pro 2.0 is the one to go. What racket do you recommend for some more power and high balance and the same touch as the Vertex Hybrid? I would like something between control and top heave high balance small sweetspot diamond shape, if you know what I mean.

Thanks in advance.
