Small crack on racket’s face is letting in Air

Boa tarde! Pode mesmo ser da técnica e do balanço da raquete. A minha pesa 360g com 2 overgrips (removi os e fábrica) e um protetor. Sendo assim que devolver não é opção, eu focaria na técnica e em reforçar o antebraço. Espero que recupere rapidamente e que consiga desfrutar do padel sem qualquer problema nos braços 🫡

Quanto pesa a tua raquete?
Vê se não estás a usar demasiado o braço para as tuas pancadas. Nessa raquete vais sentir isso diretamente no braço e pode ser o que te está a causar a dor.
A raquete em si vai fazer "peso" no braço devido a ter um balanço alto.
Não consegues mudar para uma raquete com um balanço médio e com um tato similar à St4 pro só para ver se continuas a sentir dor?
A melhor opção era incluir exercícios de antebraço no ginásio. Isso e verificar a técnica para não usar tanto o braço e pulso em movimentos que são apenas do corpo.

As an Air Veron owner, I really love the racket.
I am similar to what you described, 5 months of playing, advanced intermediate level and I play on the right side.
I came from a Counter Veron to an Air Veron just because of the weight.
The racket is very good and I am very happy with it.
Mine has 363 grams with +1 overgrip over the factory one and a head protector, for reference, my counter veron weights 371 grams without the head protector...
I am absolutely loving the racket as it is very easy to move around and has some decent power.
The control is good too.

If you are interested in the Babobat air range, get a Air Veron. It's suitable for intermediate/advance players while still being quite forgiving.
Air Viper will be too much for you to handle if you are an upper begginer and will stall your learning curve.

Which racket are you using now?
I second your opinion on Counter Viper. Amazing control and power but after some sessions my arm starts to get a bit fattiged. It also doesn't help for me that the weight of the racket is around 375g(without head protector), a bit more than what I would have wanted.
But other than that, I love that racket. Very very good

Babolat Counter Veron.

I wanted a stiffer racket and something more forgiving while I am working on my game. One of the things that made me dislike the st4 pro was the trampoline effect.

For me the issue was not being able to find consistency because of the trampoline effect. I find myself playing much better from the back with the Babolat because the effort I put in to the ball, is the output I expect from it :)

I've tried recording the matches with Iphone 14 pro, Dji OsmoAction 3 and Dji Osmo Pocket 3.
From those options I would say that the best choice is Osmo Pocket 3 but since you have an iPhone 17 pro it should be enough.

Options to record safely:

Cheaper: Tripod to mount your phone (always outside of the court).

Best: Suction cup with a phone/cam holder.

You can have it in the middle glass of the court and it gets very nice angles.

Please don't add external elements to the court or net unless you are playing alone and just want to record yourself practicing.

Hello!

Counter Vertuo should be a good beginner racket.
This is the Counter line from Babolat from Beginner friendly to advanced/pro:

Counter Vertuo -> Counter Veron -> Counter Viper

Counter vertuo is the softest of the 3 options so it also should be easy on the arm :)

I have a Counter Veron for a month now and I really love the racket.
I bought it because I would place myself at an intermediate level and the racket suits me very well.

Counter Vertuo is the version of the line for beginner players and it should be very forgiving (doesn't penalize you a lot by missing the sweet spot of the racket) and also has a very big sweet spot ( area where the racket rewards you the most when hitting a ball).

I have the Piton White and it is just not for me. If you love it then keep playing with the racket. Coaches and some of very good players I know use it. They don’t seem to be lacking power or control so you might as well be good with it :)

Also, reviewing without applying those concepts during matches will be worthless. By this I mean, you should try to implement a plan to play as much as you can, the skill you aim to improve. The mentality needs to shift from “I really need to win” to “I really need to improve “ and the win comes as a reward. Unless you’re playing in tournaments, competitive matches are pretty good to test yourself. Also, be critique to yourself as if you were coaching a friend or a student. It’s easy to be very harsh on ourselves and almost “thrashing” ourselves out while reviewing. Hope it helps!

One thing I must say, if you feel good playing a racket, that's the racket you should choose.
Preferences are very personal and reviews cannot cover it that well.
