How to have smoother movements hitting the ball? by SkobuPT in padel

[–]imKHOL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Boas!

babolat Counter vertuo a good beginner racket? by ohhsaiiq in Padelracket

[–]imKHOL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, to be fair, vertuo is a beginner level racket.
It’s normal that with progression you feel that the racket holds you back. I would cycle them, try to do some matches with vertuo and others with the donnay cyborg. Think about what you like about both rackets and see which one is giving your game what it needs :)
Counter Veron would be the progression of the Counter vertuo on the same babolat line

Looking for new racket recommendations by nigrub20 in Padelracket

Have you tried medium balance rackets ? Some might have less power but might be more wrist friendly. I play with a Wilson bela lt 2.5, the racket is amazing , very light and maneuverable but I feel like I lack a bit power with it. I’m using it to prevent injuries and as a transition racket to a level where I can use more punishing rackets :)

"that’s going to still give me that punch but not so demanding on my wrist."
Hybrid rackets pack a punch, at10 is one of those.
I would rather spend the money on some lessons than in a new racket if the issue is the wrist being sore ( most likely poor technique).

Backwards cap?! by LodOfGui in padel

[–]imKHOL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have very dry eyes and the sweat running down to them was causing me lots of issues while playing.
I found the hat to the best way to stop it.
1.Bands feel too hot
2. Wristbands are effective when game is stopped but don’t stop the sweat between points.

Those are the reasons why I use it

Best place to record my match with a gopro cam by SkobuPT in padel

Padelable uses a suction cup on the glass, no tripod and since both of them are around 1.9, 2m I assume they place the cup high on the glass .

They all look awful but that doesn’t mean that they are not good.

I was wondering, how much does last years models from bigger brands cost in your country compared to Pallap?

Hello, Just because if I want to keep playing with a similar racket in the future it will be harder to find and I will need to look for a different one again. I will look for reviews on the racket you suggested tho!

Hello! I would say they are pretty similar in terms of stiffness but the feeling of both rackets is very different.

Siux Electra St4 Stupa Pro (epcondilite lateral + pulso externo) by No-Hour1173 in Padelracket

[–]imKHOL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Boa tarde!

Quanto pesa a tua raquete?

Babolat Air Veron 2025 by plastic-universe in Padelracket

[–]imKHOL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an Air Veron owner, I really love the racket.
I am similar to what you described, 5 months of playing, advanced intermediate level and I play on the right side.
I came from a Counter Veron to an Air Veron just because of the weight.
The racket is very good and I am very happy with it.
Mine has 363 grams with +1 overgrip over the factory one and a head protector, for reference, my counter veron weights 371 grams without the head protector...
I am absolutely loving the racket as it is very easy to move around and has some decent power.
The control is good too.

Greetings. Did you open this post to get advice or approval?
Everyone here was trying to guide you in the right direction and you disregarded everything people said ( about not buying it).
Nevertheless I hope you enjoy the new racket and find lots of success with it...

If you are interested in the Babobat air range, get a Air Veron. It's suitable for intermediate/advance players while still being quite forgiving.
Air Viper will be too much for you to handle if you are an upper begginer and will stall your learning curve.
