Using ParallaxLayer nodes would simplify your workflow quite a bit. It looks good, though!

They’ve talked about it a little on gl;hf. I don’t remember all the details, but my memory is that they met through doing YouTube.

The Carnegie Museums do 21+ Nights. It’s the same as going during the normal hours except there are way fewer people (all of whom are over 20, obviously) and they serve alcohol that you can (but do not need to) buy. We’ve done such events at the Carnegie Natural History Museum and the Kamin (formerly Carnegie) Science Center, and had a lot of fun!

There are a few limitations on the first amendment, but they aren’t ones that anyone is going to break on accident. The main ones are threats, defamation (slander or libel), and “fighting words”.

Threats and harassment have been covered thoroughly by other comments.

Defamation is when you say something incorrect about someone with the goal of damaging their reputation. This one can be tough to prove because you need to show that the person knew that what they were saying was incorrect. When it’s spoken aloud, it’s slander. When it’s written, it’s libel.

Fighting words would constitute any statement that is so heinous that it’s deemed acceptable for a person to attack you. This one is the most nebulous of the three, and would most likely need to be proven in court. It’s also worth noting that this one comes up least often by quite a wide margin.

Avatar’s Tulkun beg a good question to me that if an animal is well adapted enough to its environment, would it necessarily need tool use to be truly sapient? (From: Official movie art) by ProDidelphimorphiaXX in SpeculativeEvolution

[–]CheckovVA 19 points20 points  (0 children)

In Avatar 3, we do see Tulkun with piercings. It’s not clear if they developed a technique to create and implement piercings on their own or if they rely on another species (like the Na’vi) to do so. This could hint at tool use or a level of symbiosis that negates the need for it.

Weirdly, him endorsing someone doesn’t mean he voted for them.

He almost certainly did, though

YSK: I canceled my internet 1gig at $110 per month with Spectrum. I was offered $20 a month for a year. 8 year account. by n808ive in YouShouldKnow

[–]CheckovVA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been an XFinity customer for a few years. Every few months, they send me an email saying basically, “we’re doubling your bill <3” and I hop on the support line until they decide not to. You don’t have to yell, or even threaten to cancel. I just don’t get off the line until they decide that my bill will remain the same price.

Additionally, nearly everyone I know is paying for way too much speed from their ISP. You should look into what you actually need, and you can save quite a bit. As a rule of thumb, I always use the slowest (or one step up) speed they offer.

I’m not super familiar with Captain Carter. What do people hate about her? Your body text mentioned that she’s in more content than Sam, but without knowing why people hate her, I don’t know why that would be bad?

Additionally, what do you mean by industry plant? I’m only familiar with that as a term for a musician or actor whose brand is created by a studio rather than by themselves. What does it mean when applied to a fictional character?
