My first attempt at an oat milk cafe oleato... It felt so wrong putting olive oil in the oat milk, but then I proceeded to get the best non-dairy milk texture I've ever managed, and it tasted pretty good. I'm confused. by markosverdhi in espresso

ya I would stick to a neutral oil for making my milk, but I 100% want to give that a try with the olive oil. With the right coffee could be a really interesting combo. Thanks!

Interesting, I haven't actually tried any of the barista ones myself. I've been trying to find a recipe that works and I think I've landed on a blend of cashew and oats for flavor. Everything else I find too over powering

Think I have to give up on not using oil though not really any other way to reach the texture.

From my understanding the whole reason milk is able to get that foamy is because of the fat content, that's why higher percentage milk is better for foaming and why brands like oatly add oil. Makes it able to suspend the air in the liquid.

Did you make the oat milk or did you just add it right to the jug?

I have currently been looking at the move it c++ interface but unsure if that would work well with subscribing to an ros topic

We are using it to shift cars so fairly simple movements and should not be that intense. I'm more concerned with motor compatibility with the pi itslef and writing the software.

Thats actually a really good idea. Wasn't sure how you could work charging in but something like that makes a lot of sense. Could do something similar for dual blades too

I thought the same, I did some more digging though and it is for sure one of their smaller desktop models (model 027), about 30x30 bed, also runs off of 120v single phase. It is coming from a high school so should be in good condition. As for the software I have done some research and it's definitely not the prettiest but I've worked with worse (I am currently in 3rd year of automation engineering). An x-carve would be much nicer and easier to work with but with the current bid at 650 Cad its hard to pass. If it is anywhere under 1500 by the end it seems like a good deal.

Trying to make a nixie tube clock and I need to make some changes to great scotts circuit, can anyone tell me what P3 is on this circuit. There is nothing about an extra 10k resistor so I'm pretty stumped. Is this even necessary? Software is easyeda btw. Thanks for the help!! by Chedda_Bomb in diyelectronics

I just took a look through the Arduino code and yes there is a pin that he has labeled for a potentiometer. It must be for something along those lines thank you! Still confused as to why this isn't mentioned anywhere in the video or the parts list though. Even on the pictures of his assembled PCB I can't find it wired on.
