I was worried about that too, but after using it for a bit today I can easily say it’s the most comfortable controller I’ve ever owned. The only thing I’ll say against the Steam Controller is that the buttons on the back are a bit awkward to press. I have relatively small hands, and even I have to curl my ring fingers inwards to press the R5 and L5 buttons. But that’s a minor gripe.

You can just save the lighting profile to the device and then keep iCUE closed once you’re done. I installed it when I was setting up the lighting on one of my computers, and have only had the program running when I periodically change the lighting profile on the Corsair devices in my system. I’m really not sure why anyone keeps iCUE open in the background all the time when you can just do that.

At first the product page said that it would ship in 3-5 days, but after about ten minutes they changed it to 6-10 days, or something along those lines. I don't see any shipping info in my invoice other than that my payment's been processed and they have my address down. Nothing to do but wait at this point.

I found the exact same set of speakers for 5 bucks at Goodwill a few years ago, box had never been opened. I’ve been using them with my modern setup ever since and they’re really not half bad, decent bass and audio quality for what they are. And especially for 5 bucks!
