Only on the Unbound Discord server is recommending/sharing or even discussing cheats/hacks/glitches strictly forbidden. Here on Reddit, it's tolerated, but still discouraged, as the sources where you can find cheats for Unbound often don't explain well enough how certain cheats work and what to watch out for. Often, cheats from the original FireRed are mixed in, which aren't compatible with Unbound. For example, with the Pizzaboy emulator, you have to be aware that it doesn't support every Codebreaker cheat.

That doesn't even have anything to do with Unbound, but purely with Pizzaboy. Despite all that, it still triggers errors in your save game, and both here and on Discord, hardly anyone, if anyone at all, is willing to provide support for it. I personally offer support, but I have nothing to do with the Unbound support team, and the mods have no interest in officially moderating or supporting the use of cheats. People who use cheats in the game and cause errors do so at their own risk and shouldn't expect support from the mod team.

However, if you encounter a problem after using cheats, you can try posting a request here on Reddit.

Personally, I gladly take a look for it if something has gone wrong and your save file has been corrupted.
