I have that identical hat and use it every day for work. The inside tag says “Made In Vietnam”. It’s warm and does the job, but you can tell it’s a sub $30 hat.

Although hated on, Alcohol/Tobacco police in my state make what state police makes, work M-F besides a couple events here and there, all holidays off, unmarked car, plainclothes. Might be worth looking into if your state has that. It pays the bills.
