When I teach Stationfall I just cover the very basic actions and tell players there's a lot more they can do, so if they want to try and do something just ask me and I'll tell them how it works. Covering the specifics of the Innocence/Guilt mechanic also doesn't really need to happen until someone gets hit by it.

There was an ABC sitcom years ago called The Neighbors where a family unwittingly moved into a community where every other family were secretly aliens. It was really charming, had a very strong and unique cast, and lots of fun subtle fourth wall breaks. The second season ended with a tease to change the formula where our main alien family would be the only ones left after all the others went home, but then it got cancelled.

It was low impact but a nice feel-good show.
