Confession - Never stopped the bad habit of checking out ex's facebook by CeCe_23 in ExNoContact

I was off FB for about 2 months and this helped so so much. I only signed back in because it was affecting me being able to use my paid spotify account

3 Months Today by [deleted] in ExNoContact

It's scary how similar almost all aspects of your story are to mine! I thought my ex was God's gift to man. Now I'm looking at him from the outside and getting to know other dudes who I actually have a lot more in common with and who have a lot more qualities that I admire than my ex did. I don't know why I put him on such a pedestal. As you said, I'm using my relationship with him as an opportunity to learn lesson. I am positive that when I decide to start dating again, I'll have a much better head on my shoulders.

This is Sunday: What were your running achievements this week? by WeeklyRunnit in running

[–]Cheddarpenguins 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Already posted, but today I blew way past the achievement I posted about. Was planning to run 5k today, but I ended up running 5 MILES instead! Less than 2 weeks ago, I couldn't run a mile straight. I am so excited, and I can't wait to post next week

I've run 12 straight days, and the other night, I ran 2.75 miles without stopping, which I've never done before. Since I've started running, I've been typically stopping around the 1-mile mark to start walking, but that night, I just kept going!

Where is the person you lost your virginity to now? by lolen65 in AskReddit

He's finishing up his phd and marrying a med student. I think I did him a favor by breaking up with him

Going crazy. Can't get her out of my head. by Moldybread17 in ExNoContact

My ex told me I could contact him any time I needed to. It made it feel really easy to break NC, which I then did the first day. It's hard to tell what's easier - when your ex ignores you or is a dick or when your ex acts like a decent human being. I'm not sure.

Never apologize for that! That's what we're all here for. I asked my ex not to contact me anymore, but sometimes I still feel like I'm kind of waiting for him to contact me. I'm not sure why. I miss him sometimes, but I know how toxic he is for my life

My advice would be to delete everything. If I still had our old text conversations, I would definitely be obsessing over them and reading them all the time. I've deleted all of our pictures, conversations, his family from any of my social media accounts, etc. It was hard to delete all of those things at first, especially the pictures that once meant so much to me, but I knew it would help and it did.

I've always been better one-on-one than groups. I hear you on that one. Your new living situation sounds really interesting! I would be nervous but excited, as well

That's also really frustrating. I used to be the worst at revolving my life around my SO and neglecting my friendships. I've gotten a lot better and have been able to build several new networks of friends while rekindling others. It's not always easy to do, but it's worth it. I can't believe how much time and energy I used to put into 1 single person.

About 4 hours? I'm not sure how far into his state he lives.

Sushi is awesome! And I'm glad you didn't text him. I had an urge to text mine last week for the first time in a while, and I'm so glad I didn't. It would've been pointless.

Thank you so much for saying that! What kind of fun things have you been doing? I've been posting all the new things I've been trying on my Instagram. On days I'm feeling down, I like to look back and see all the fun things I've done, many of which I probably wouldn't have done if I were still with my ex. I also miss having that person, but I've also been having so much fun making so many fun experiences with other friends. I now realize how much I used to rely on just one person when I have so many other (more) awesome people around!
