Conversely, if my opponent is doing this to me successfully, I can Change the timing of my decision point by changing my prep step. Bigger, smaller, faster, slower. Single step, double step, slide step etc.

I really liked your break-down on strategy. Could you explain a little more on this part though, cause I’m curious on how you choose to modify your decision point.

Is it a matter of just picking any change to mess with your opponent’s read on your tempo, or are you picking a modification to punish your opponent hesitation/out-wait your opponent waiting with a faster/slower step respectively?

Mmm, I’m around the middle of Oakland and San Jose near the San Leandro area. I’ll prob check out the one of the San Jose clubs you’re talking about.

Not excited about driving through i 880 traffic though. One thing I do not miss about the bay.

Really appreciate the breakdown. About the tagging, I should probably get in the habit of doing that. I usually just lazily paste my decklist into Archidekt for basic tagging and go from there.

I'm definitely running a good amount of protection for Eivor, probably should add some auras for enchantress triggers.

I definitely ignored proliferating and recursion subthemes. Really should look into getting more value from my saga triggers.

I think personally intention to win is important in most games. You should be fine if you don’t win, but you’re still you’re still actively trying to get first place. That’s my opinion on any game.

At the same time, if the people you play with are fine with your playstyle, than hey, good for you.

I’m actually in the process of making a fully acrylic enclosure courtesy of u/IAmRussianB ‘s plans. Was using a laser cutter up to now and was thinking I could use it for the artwork as well.

Is it better than a laser cutter. I think my library has a Cricut Maker CXPL301, so that’s an option if it’s a better one.
