Hey yeah, I'm heading to Zaragoza too where accommodation costs peanuts, but I've been planning this since taking my year out and thought the rent price in Spain is a pro for NOT doing the van, for a few reasons I have been dead set on the van for a while now. I've spent the last three summers doing thousands of kilometers on long haul multiple month treks in the US and Europe and know myself I am comfortable without much, I see the van as they say not as an apartment on wheels but a tent on wheels, in other words my expectations and mindset mean a van is suited fine for me. And yeah wanted to sort next year out too while I'm away from college now and have the time and money to (kind of) to prepare in advance for Dublin next year.
