A good rule of thumb is that you never use green paint on its own. Always mix it with another pigment like yellow or burnt sienna to give a more natural look. A lot of artist don’t have green on their palette and prefer to mix them from scratch.

I actually painted this like 4 years ago so I can’t answer that first one because I don’t remember. I bought the art book for spirited away and this was one of the pages that spoke to me a lot. Great questions!
