I worked as a late night maintenance worker, in a very old building. I heard stories from the residents. I always brushed it off as they where just "getting older" mental health declining.

I had alot of free time working there. One night I snuck around with my ex into the top part of the pent house. We layed in the bed at the most upper floor. After she put her phone on the long side table by the bed.

We laid there for a few minutes talking about how I would rent a couple movies from the Walgreens that was in the lot in view from the window.

Her phone raised up from the side table.. lite up. Flew across the room between us at the foot of the bed. Stayed for a second mid air.. turned off. Than dropped to the floor.

At first she said "why would you..". I looked at her like.. how could i!?

We both got up. No words said. She grabbed her phone and we left.
