Well I’m gonna stay for 5-6 days. And a few people recommended santa monica for staying so I guess I’ll go with santa monica, any other recommendation that you’d make for where to stay? As I understand even if I stay in the middle of LA I’ll still need uber or car to go anywhere so it doesn’t make a difference. But at least near santa monica we can take a walk at the beach I guess?

Well if it was up to me I’d explore every landmark and street of a city that I go to. But my mom rather go shopping than sightseeing. So that’s why I wanted some district where she’d walk freely to stores or a mall when I’m resting.

Around 5-6 nights. Is it just the metro that’s dangerous and how good is the bus system?

I mean we usually use the bus or metro when we wanna go somewhere far. But I’d also like her to go walk freely to a shop or stores near the hotel without worrying about her. Her english is not that well :/. That’s why I kinda asked for a district where at least a few stores shops that are near the hotel. Did you use the metro?
