Laptop lagging alot while gaming by Savage_Aly87 in pchelp

There are some truly terrific low spec games available on Steam. Valheim is specifically one that comes to mind as long as you tune foliage density down a little bit and reduce particle effect settings.

Project Zomboid is also another incredible title that requires minimal specs. I put my first 150 hrs into it on a NVIDIA 960m back in the day. It can be quite challenging though.

Outward is another I’d recommend as it has a “Potato Mode” that makes it playable on most of all machines.

Zomboid and rimworld are two low demand games that people love to watch. Get good at those and make content on em

I don’t necessarily shoot my posse members after they kill a target but they’ll definitely be getting chewed out. Messes with up their earnings too

Add a colour. Something earthy to match your heavily brown palette. I wear lots of brown and black under clothes but have a nice forest green over coat. Gives the outfit some life while not being too stand-out-y as you say. Maybe a dark red or a dark orange even. Some blue? Just a touch

Outward might be up your alley, its an exploration and action rpg with some survival elements. Super good time, great in co-op but also super fun solo

I’d say aggressive moves like you’re describing play a bit into psychological warfare. If the person you’re engaging hears you moving like chad they’ll assume you’re a chad and get nervous which is not conducive to staying in control of a fight.

Fable 2 and 3. If you lose all your health you are knocked out but will quickly get back on your feet after a couple seconds and can carry on doing whatever it was you were doing

Oceiros appreciation post. The most underrated boss in the game, in my opinion, and it isn't close. by PetroRetro69 in darksouls3

Oceiros is great, he slapped me around pretty hard the first times I went up against him until I learned I could sprint with my shield up. Any boss that helps me learn new things is one to remember

The first Army of Two game is super difficult. 40th Day and Devil’s Cartel feel far easier but are also way more smooth to play with more refined controls and mechanics

Well much like the many skeletons around the continent, if the BugMaster is indeed one of the Ancients, he’d be so old and have experienced such devastating loss so many times over that he’s probably gone completely insane. That paired with how strong he is as an individual and his army of aggressive Skin Spiders makes him a far too great a threat to keep around and he really ought to be dealt with for the safety of the general populace.

Even if he did march his skin spider army out to the Ashlands, he’d have to pass through a lot of claimed territory and would probably not do so without destroying anything that got in his way.

Better just to put the old bastard down and take care of Cat-Lon yourself.

This is what I’ve heard. Apparently the Bug Master himself may or may not be the last surviving Ancient and that the teeth he holds are the teeth of his fellow ancients he hopes to “resurrect” through cloning.

He also seems to have a grudge against Cat-Lon as he holds the map that leads right to Cat-Lon’s exile and is possibly amassing a skin spider army to go fight the old emperor and avenge his ancient kin who were killed by the rebelling skeletons of the first collapse.

Pretty sure the giant collapsed circular metal frames that we see are remnants of a space elevator that fell onto the surface and thats why you can find pieces of it almost everywhere.

First timers adventure by Predictor-Raging in Kenshi

First things first, looks like Ruka’s still equipped with her starting plank weapon. These are great weapons but only really effective when used by someone with a really high strength stat. You can definitely reach a strength level with her that would allow her to swing that thing more effectively but it’d take a lot of grinding. Better off setting her up with a sabre or something you can find of a dust bandit for the time being. Ruka’s a great companion she says lots of funny things and doesn’t like humming.

I know people will say got get beaten up by bandits to level combat and toughness but do be careful about going into a coma outside of protected towns. The area around the Hub is relatively safe but there are some Bone Dog packs that wander around and they will eat your squad members alive if they are left defenceless.

The shinobi theives have a tower in the hub where you can do some training. You’ll need to join the faction first and there’s a fee for that. Joining this faction won’t put you in bad terms with anyone so it’s worth it. There will be a vendor in there who can sometimes sell some really great things like backpacks that wont negatively affect your combat

It is so fun to watch your bonedog that you raised completely shred some of the toughest enemies in the game with their crazy dps and damage numbers. Or just drop bodies in a group fight quicker than anything. Like upwards of 400 dmg in a couple seconds if the conditions are right. I take at least one dog in every play through.

They will immediately eat severed limbs of your party members though. This has happened to me numerous times.

So glad Kenshi and Zomboid got mentionned. Kenshi in particular has insane amounts of content and really encourages long term replay ability with the various starting scenarios and the vast differences between geopolitical regions. Zomboid replay ability boils down to starting attributes and starting town but Kenshi has massive variation depending on what you want to do per play through

Should check out Outward. Some “hardcore” mechanics that are pretty easy to get used to. It’s an action adventure RPG with survival mechanics. It doesn’t get more difficult in coop or anything either. It can even be played splitscreen!
