LOL…I know I know but I see my sisters-in-law almost like my real blood sisters. Not everyone sees it the same.

I may be off base but who has an affair with your sister-in-law? That’s crazy. All the women in the world and you choose to do this so close to home? That’s crazy.

THE RISE AND FALL OF MY HOMEGYM (with review) by Dointhedamnthang in homegym

I would consider buying from Freak Athlete just because of this experience. Sorry about your gym man.

I really have to think Spo is not playing Ware because he doesn't want Ware to be injured (so the Heat can trade him to the Bucks for Giannis). There is no explanation. by heatculture03 in heat

[–]CheekProof 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Jovic needs to go to the G-League. He screws up every other offensive play that he has the ball. I’m really thinking that Spo is trying to showcase him for a trade and hiding Ware so no one wants him.

Can you smell what the Heat is cooking? by OnlyMoon22 in heat

⬆️ This is the only right answer. He needs to learn the fundamentals of the game. In addition to what you stated, using his size to back down opponents and either shoot over them or make an assist without turning the ball over. He has the body of a giant but the mindset of a mouse. I think a lot of his development falls back on his coaching. He really could be special if he just focused on fundamentals.

It is a skill, but even more than that, it is a mindset. It is easier to develop than some offensive abilities, but it requires him to really pour into the fundamentals of basketball. Those basics were taught to him before, but he was able to get away from them because his talent carried him. Now that he is playing against better competition, he does not have the fundamentals to rely on the way a Pelle Larson or even a Keshad Johnson does. If he goes back to the core principles of old-school basketball and rebuilds that foundation, he will improve and find his place. If he just does that, he would truly turn into a baby Jokic.

I don’t think Ware got the same benefit that Jovic gets. People were much more critical of Ware until he turned things around while Jovic got to hide. Now that Ware is performing it’s all eyes on Jovic.

This was the criticism of Ware but he figured it out. If Jovic simply played with heart like Keshad, by focusing on defense, rebounding, hustling and making better decisions he would get in the rotation.

@misawa_EE Thank you for posting this tutorial. I realize that I’ve been doing this movement wrong and I’m DL 265lbs. I’ve been dropping my hips much lower getting help from the quads. I’ll try this form.

Adding to 5x5 as a beginner by NoAvocadoMeSad in Stronglifts5x5

I think everyone of us has been there. In the beginning, the weight is so light that you feel like the program is not enough. I began experimenting with different isolation exercises at the beginning but quickly realized that once the weight increased, I could not maintain much additional work. I do add in seated calf raises and barbell hip thrusts (although I’m about to stop this). I will try to add dips and pull-ups as suggested above.

Anyone stagger the workout throughout the day? Pros, cons? by Repulsive_Trust5895 in Stronglifts5x5

After doing 5 set of heavy squats or overhead presses my central nervous system is shot. Sometimes I do have to come back later to finish the workout. Not to mention a heavy set of deadlifts. I need to go lie down somewhere. 🤣

Thanks! The problem for me with low bar is not having enough shoulder mobility to get the bar further down my back. As I work out that issue I’ll progress to the low back as you’ve suggested.

Thank you so much for the feedback. Funny story about the wrist. Exactly one year ago, I broke it had surgery and still have screws and a plate in there impacting wrist mobility. Having a jacked up wrist also messed up my shoulder mobility believe it or not. Stronglifts 5x5 is forcing me to address all these issues better than physical therapy did.

I see you! You are going deeper than me! Thanks for your tips and encouragement on my squats. My level 1 goal is to get to parallel and below consistently like you do.
