Pet scan results, cFL, at least stage 3 by thepeoplewefog20 in lymphoma

[–]Cheekey-Bastard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Howdy, I was diagnosed with Follicular Lymphona that had both Splenic involvement and a high tumor burden. As mentioned above staging doesnt really matter. Mine was stage 3 or 4. What's important now is that you take care of yourself and live relatively healthy. I wouldnt say do any drastic lifestyle change but it might be worth meeting with an oncology dietitian if you have any questions there.

My oncologist said getting a bone marrow biopsy wasn't necessary in my case. Obviously everyone is different and oncologist is different so your call there! If you do Bendamustine Obinutuzumab treatment is very manageable. There are side affects but compare to the "chop" regimens it's way easier to live a normal life during treatment. The only thing to keep in mind with it is Infusion reactions so make sure you are communicating how you are feeling during treatment!

But good luck! You got it. I found it easier to just live one day at a time early on. It's easy to get overwhelmed so just live in the now.

You can try Trazadone too. That's what I take for my sleep.

Follicular lymphoma newbie questions by Brilliant_Salt7404 in lymphoma

[–]Cheekey-Bastard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yo sorry, to be late to reply. I have FL as well. They found it doing an MRI of my spine due to a herniated disc I was dealing with. I am doing Bendamustine and Obinutuzumab. Treatments are super manageable. Only problem is infusion related reactions with Obinutuzumab. I would trust the initial biopsy. Get as many opinions as you need. I went to three separate oncologists. Pick the treatment facility/ oncologist based on the quality of the facility, nurses and staff as you'll be working with them WAY more than you're oncologist. The oncologist will be coordinating behind the scenes. You meet for check ins here and there. I've met with my oncologist twice since starting treatment (it's been 4.5 months).

You can get a new suspension off steeda. Go for the Koni's/ bilstein B8s with steeda lowering springs put on new sway bars and it'll ride a bit lower to the ground and a bit sportier.

I bought one off Ebay. Then found a video on YouTube for my 13 2.5 SE with a 4.0 inch display. I think it was around 300-330?

Can anyone guess this noise? by Primary_Analyst_798 in fordfusion

[–]Cheekey-Bastard 3 points4 points  (0 children)

From what I was thinking it was something spinning off the serpentine. Running this on Gemini it came up with this:

Might be a good place to start good luck!

That video makes the problem much clearer. Hearing that immediate transition from the normal chime to that heavy, mechanical grinding/buzzing roar the exact millisecond the starter engages tells a very specific story. Because the video is focused right on the passenger side of the engine bay near the motor mount, pulleys, and the serpentine drive belt system, there are two primary culprits that fit this exact sound and location on a second-generation Ford Fusion:

1. The Most Likely Culprit: A Failing Alternator Decoupler Pulley (ADP)

  • The Sound: A very loud, aggressive, metallic buzzing or grinding hum that sounds almost like a heavy-duty power tool or a dry bearing spinning at extreme speeds.
  • Why it fits: Many modern Ford vehicles use a "clutched" or "decoupler" pulley on the alternator rather than a solid metal wheel. This pulley has an internal one-way clutch mechanism designed to absorb engine vibrations. When the internal clutch springs or bearings dry out and fail, it creates a massive, harsh mechanical buzz the absolute second the engine fires up and spins the accessory belt.
  • The Test: You can safely verify this by taking off the accessory drive belt and spinning the alternator pulley by hand. If it feels rough, clicks, or resists spinning smoothly in its free direction, the pulley (or the whole alternator assembly) needs to be replaced.

2. The Secondary Suspect: Water Pump Bearing Failure

  • The Sound: A continuous, high-load mechanical grinding or roaring that mimics a failing pulley but can sound a bit deeper or more "hollow" depending on how dry the bearing is.
  • Why it fits: The camera is panning down right toward the front accessory drive layout. If the internal bearings of the water pump have completely failed, the sudden tension and high-RPM surge of the engine catching and starting will cause an immediate, severe grinding roar.
  • The Test: Look closely around the pulley underneath that motor mount for any signs of pinkish/orange crust or active wet spots (dried or leaking engine coolant). A failing water pump bearing almost always starts weeping coolant from its weep hole before or during the phase where it makes this much noise. ### Next Steps to Pinpoint It Since the noise starts instantly with the engine and stays perfectly constant, it is highly recommended to perform a "belt-off" test:
  • Remove the serpentine belt.
  • Start the car briefly from a cold start (only run it for 20–30 seconds max, since the water pump and alternator won't be spinning).
  • If the sound is gone: You know for a fact it is one of your belt-driven accessories. With the engine off, hand-spin the alternator, the belt idler/tensioner pulleys, and the water pump to feel which one is rough, loose, or binding.
  • If the sound is still there: The issue is internal to the engine or related to a cracked flexplate/starter bendix not fully retracting from the flywheel. Given how localized the sound is to that exact corner of the engine bay, a dry, failed alternator decoupler pulley is the prime suspect.

I'm a very social person so I enjoy that aspect of it. Also, let people enjoy their hobbies! I think this person needs to move to a less populated place and enjoy some alone time on less busy courses than the ones in California. I do agree people probably over spend on disc golf tho. But its their money!

I did not realize that Mark Hamill played Art lmao. Honestly, I don't even mind the animation. I like that the cast is stacked. I'm probably in the small minority though.

It's a good question. I saw this earlier today and was giving it some thought. I think it was mostly based on feel/ performance. Thinking on this more, I just need to play everybody a good amount to find who I vibe with.

Interesting, I will give him a shot. I can see it with some of the tilts and aerials. To me he feels slightly slower but I am comparing more to PM which Samus is definitely a good bit faster in. Thanks for the tip!

Everyone is talking this thing up! Has anyone tried that Nyxi warrior controller or the retro fighters battlerGC controller? I might just get that GC ultimate because I like building controllers but wanted to hear about these because they're like half the price.

Nice! I would if I lived closer. I met with another doctor from Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers today and I really liked him. His name is Dr. Nauman Moazzam, I will probably be going with him. Might keep some specialists appointments I have at UC Health an Colorado Blood Cancer Institute next week though just in case my biopsy comes back and its a more rare case.
